Eventually can travel in specific man to man against a top target into the slot…. Oh I like him for that. depends on how the DC wants to play. If it's more a hybrid appraoch he is a perfect fit for changing things up on defensive schemes. I would love to give teams varying looks

Been really consistent on my thinking. So I’ll be shocked if it isn’t Oline.

Well I am much better with offense than D,but even I,with my limited knowledge, I can see the talent this kid has. He just gets better the more i watch him. I know WR's and TE's,but this guy can cover them from whatever position we want him to play. he can play deep CB or cover a good TE if that's what we want him to do

We had many O line guys in. Beebe is the highest ranked. If we miss or go another direction we have later options. I don't see a gigantic need to take one at 22 JMO. Just give me a solid guy at RG. A first rounder is not really needed. Good class, lots of talent in this group at alot of positions.

What are we talking here? Ceedee Lamb…I’m going to sneakily slide in Watson from Green Bay. Maybe consider Aiyuck maybe leaves the Niners so facing Deebo. These guys are bigger and more physical…like how we have AJ. So really highlighting these specific matchups as needing to be covered by our Cornerback.
April 17, 20241 yr Author I would like Howie to stand at 22,maybe trade back one of the round 2's,then again there is round 1 talent in round 2 so who knows?

He has to face many with differing styles.
April 17, 20241 yr Is DK Metcalf a concern? Rams present their own dual threat problem. Cardinals so close to drafting a sick WR. Will they trade back from that?

No single WR more highlighted and important than Ceedee Lamb. If he’s a bad matchup? Look Lamb is pretty tough. Just need a guy maybe…can hold near his own against him in primary single coverage. At 22? Versatility is great as a DB. But can he cover these key larger physical WR in our clear path residing in the NFC hierarchy? That’s where DeJean I believe sticks out as an especially wise choice.

We need them to come backwards. Draft ahead still. Then after the draft(possibly even during) you have teams dumping vets(sometimes just money contractually). Gkn Didn't they come backwards? They lost 2 OL.. who is running the ball...and who covers WRs? Didn't they lose a few DL too?
April 17, 20241 yr Can Dejean handle Cooper Kupp and Puka Nukaua? Think the Rams matchup potentially his worst.

Well you have to expect rookie mistakes, but we will have that with anyone. I think DeJean is the most NFL ready DB I have seen in awhile

But Wiggins perfect mirroring with his slight frame isn’t the better fit for us as DeJean to face our very specific NFC roadblocks.
