But Wiggins perfect mirroring with his slight frame isn’t the better fit for us as DeJean to face our very specific NFC roadblocks. Right DeJean can be more physical

I think DeJean is the most NFL ready DB I have seen in awhile What are your thoughts specifically with these key NFC matchups? Ceedee Lamb clearly first. Can you draft a DB at 22 that can’t at least compete with him?

April 17, 20241 yr Winning the SB is the goal. Planning to win your division should really be paramount. Having a very sharp eye on winning in the postseason? Not even close to next level thinking here. Winning the NFC has to be the focus.

DeJean gives me a physical guy who can make plays on contested balls. He's a rookie(or will be). i can't ask him to cover Lamb out of the gate. That takes experience

You don’t believe Lamb stays in Dallas? Niners not a roadblock…still? I’m throwing in big on GB. Deebo isn’t going anywhere…neither is Watson or Lamb. Metcalf I’m not discounting. These aren’t little speedsters being finesse and crafty. Looking at needing a specific guy for the job

April 17, 20241 yr But could this draft and decisions be based on one single player even? Can you draft any DB at 22 that can’t matchup with Lamb?
April 17, 20241 yr Author 2 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: But could this draft and decisions be based on one single player even? Can you draft any DB at 22 that can’t matchup with Lamb? IMO DeJean is the best overall fit for us. I draft him for that, not specific players. He will watch film,be coached to transition to the speed of the NFL and how the WR's play and the tendencies of every guy he will face just like anyone else would have to do. If we pass on him at 22,I don't see Dullaz passing on him at 24
April 17, 20241 yr By matching up…I’m really not even saying ‘Shutdown’…can we place DeJean against Lamb 75 percent of the time heads up in Man…and just contain Lamb…to like 60 yards and TD?
April 17, 20241 yr Author With DeJean you have him 5 years(or more) How long will Lamb play? You can't draft like that

So they’ll get a good replacement.
