April 19, 20242 yr Author Reddick posted quality numbers in 2023, recording 11 sacks and 38 tackles (13 for loss), earning a second straight trip to the Pro Bowl. He wasn't quite the same game-changing force as he was in the prior year, though, and after enjoying quality production from Reddick at an incredibly affordable rate ($6.9 million cap number in 2023), the Eagles weren't too interested in watching that number jump to $21.8 million in 2024 (or carrying his $14.6 million dead cap number in 2025).

Yet seems like that’s really the big complaint about his demeanor last season during the slide.

But the dumbest move would have been signing him at top market price long term. Total disaster if they actually went through with that. Which most reports were they considering.

Totally understand the downfalls of backloaded contracts. Even in the case of signing Reddick which was a steal of a signing.

April 19, 20242 yr What are we drafting players for here then? Fit? To fit what or whom? Siri? Moore? Fangio? Are any of these guys going to be here past this season?
April 19, 20242 yr Odds would be highest for Fangio returning I’d think between betting Siri, Moore and Fangio.

April 19, 20242 yr Guess we are rebuilding team. The Saquan move kind of blinded me to this fact. Thought we were making a go of things the next two seasons.

April 19, 20242 yr Bears have a pretty good team put together. FL you stated Bears would win the North last season. Get them a real QB in now…are we better? Cards went toe to toe with us and beat us. Now have the fourth pick in every round to rebuild with. Are we better than them? Poor Panthers…if we aren’t better than them probably time to sell the team.
