They have the entire senior bowl practices the games, private workouts, pro day, combine, plus all the games. Again should be educated guess on any player big or small. Lot more info for scouts, GM, teams etc on players then any of us fans are going to have. I'm not Howie. We already know he is averse to taking DB's even if they fall to us. So it's difficult for me to think he would give up assets to make this move he is already averse to. I guess we'll know in 33 hours LOL. Could also be a smoke screen to free up someone else(like Bowers or a top O lineman)

Jarrett, Rowe, Sidney, Douglas, Brown Feel like when people wanted to say we didn’t draft WRs we drafted guys we just never drafted the position well. DB feels the same way right now

DB feels the same way right now Zero in round 1 and now you are adding LOSS of assets for him to do it now? I just don't see it when you can make less of a lift for DeJean or Arnold if you want a DB in round 1 AT ALL,which has never happened. Like i said I'm not against getting him,it's not worth losing assets in a stacked draft to me. maybe it is for Howie IDK. Bowers would have more bang for the buck if we decided to go up that high
April 24, 20242 yr 1 minute ago, GreenbleedinNC said: Zero in round 1 And???? Sidney Brown was the odds on favorite to be our round 1 pick until injury the we got him round 2. If Brown worked out and Douglas played well would we be complaining that we didn’t spend round 1 picks on the guys? no the only reason we say we are averse to taking DBs is because the picks we have made have not worked out

But you're right. so what sets this kid SO far apart from the other 2 in the conversation that we would give up assets in stacked draft???
April 24, 20242 yr Author Seems the 1,2,3 ranked DB's are pretty close to me. Bowers on the other hand is worlds apart from #2

I can't see Bowers getting past the Jets. Just seems like the move for them at the moment with Arod there. I really don't think the Eagles trade up that far. Rumors with Denver at 12... I can't see it. I think reports are all over the place..because the obvious reason is the Eagles are at the mercy of how the draft falls.

My point was a small lift for one of the other 2 I could see,but this is a stacked draft ad we're damn good at getting round 2 impact players,so why get 2 when you can have 3 possibly?

I agree....I think there are a lot of pieces to get for the future. IMO... I think they would trade up a little only to get the target OL... the specific one they like to play RG now and move to RT later.

I'm sure Bowers could do the same. Bowers is the next Gronk Bowers is 6’2”….Gronk was much taller at 6’6”. Throw it up high to him even if covered. Just a bad comparison in so many ways. Bowers will be a good player is about the only comparison.
