Bowers is 6’2”

He is 6’3 but yes he is definitely nothing like Gronk two completely different TE.

Seen measurements that he is almost identical to Laporta with the lions

Alabama OT JC Latham to us popping up all of a sudden

I mean fits the Eagles draft philosophy plus should give us an immediate starter at RG

One of the main guys I’ve been highlighting as I suspect we pick.

Lions re-sign Sewell. They now have the highest paid OT AND WR in the league

Bowers is 6’2”….Gronk was much taller at 6’6”. Throw it up high to him even if covered. Just a bad comparison in so many ways. Bowers will be a good player is about the only comparison.

And???? Height makes the player good? Just like speed? More uneducated guesses

I mean he said Bowers was going to be good but there is obvious differences between a guy that was 6’6 270 what he can do v a guy that 6’3 240.

Can both be great but are going to do it differently. Just like Tyreke is great and AJ is great but win in different ways

IDK more than 1 called Bowers "a generational talent at TE",so I mean he's not just your average TE

Ham says it's a bad comparison. Must be because I am uneducated about the TE position having played it lol

At any rate unless the deal is really excellent,I don't see us moving until the clock starts. It could be a pre-arranged thing, but even if it is, we can hold that hostage for a better deal. I'm sure Howie understands what other teams need that pick before us

I mean the question is have is Bowers that caliber of inline TE that Gronk was? Receiving obviously Bowers could be in the mix with the best I believe.

But with a guy like Gronk that gets overlooked is the dirty work he did for the Pats dude was just a dominate blocker.

And the inline work for TE is tending to fall to the way side with guys wanting to basically be big WRs at the TE spot

Bears are making a huge change up. Great looking new stadium. Dome in Chicago for Caleb.

Yeah,so quicker can be better than BIG now. We're also seeing TE sized slot WR's

Makes him not Gronk

Like Pitts was that draft. But I don't think they use him correctly,so whatever

Latham is linked to us in so many educated guessing ways. He fits and makes a ton of sense.

Any OT for us is a pretty good guess

Look nothing wrong with the receiving TE but like you said have to use him correctly which is why Bowers could fit as the pick could flex him out wide as the slot WR in those kind of sets…. Likely to big for most slot CB and S and to fast for most LBs.

But similar to Ertz you need the other guy as well Ertz was lucky we had Celek great blocker then Geodart another really good inline TE

From what I hear he is a aslo at least an adequate blocker. So he could be a decoy or an actual pass catcher on whatever play. Need to see how the new OC wants this offense to look

Yeah Celek/Ertz, Ertz,Geodert, maybe Goedert/Bowers is the next progression IDK. But as joe said the jets would need alot to let him go at 10

You are the one that made the comparison…which doesn’t apply
