Honestly head to head Rosie would have hired Gannon over Siri for our HC job at the time. Rosie really really all about Gannon. Proven by his extreme methods he exhibited trying to retain Gannon for just one more season when he departed. Gannon had already checked out so embarrassingly before we played that SB game too. Should have been absolutely humiliating the way AR absolutely exposed him.

Had Fangio already teed up to step in. Yet Rosie threw money at Gannon. Basically blackmailing…overkill perhaps…but threatened an embarrassing scandal attempting to damage Gannon’s professionalism and character. That’s all that whole thing was ever about. Wasn’t ever about reaping any small compensation in return. Just utterly pathetic all out attempt by Rosie to strong arm Gannon into remaining here. Sadly not anything more than all out over keeping him for just a single season though.
