First Smitty had barely 1000 yards and 4 tds at no point is that consider a great season hell pretty sure we had to let Smith play week 17 just so he could crack 1000 yards.

Second Smith stats doesn’t have anything to do again with Hurts willingness and ability to throw into tight windows especially against zones

Hitch routes are easy to hit. KISS for QB 19/32

Got us 10th…with Rams clearly favorites. Actually say they are kind of lower than I’d have their SB winning chances

Who did we identify as the top guy needed to even trade up to grab in the first round of this draft? Top Zone beater WR. Nuff said.

Always an excuse with you for Hurts but Hurts also didn’t make the tight window throws with the other players either so try again

Sorry to interfere with reality, facts and circumstances.

In that weakest pro O…that’s doing very well. Everything stacked against him….yet still got there.

Had a knee injury he played through the entire post season with and the SB and we expecting AJ to just magically be healed

Brown was getting his knee drained twice a week just to be able to play in the playoffs and SB.

AJ has a knee issue..PERIOD…why the Rams backed out.

Which is telling that evidently things got so far as he took a physical for the Rams trade even.

He was sandbagging the entire season

Might have finally hired an actual O mind for a crazy mix up a things. Can you imagine? Mind boggling I know. Yet even that is a guy super inexperienced…likely needing to be developed himself a fair amount.

He’s good at running Hitch routes clearly

"They had gotten medicals. They weren't satisfied with what they saw, and that was sort of why they backed out," the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane said on unCovering the Birds. "So that explains why Brown's value on the market—partly I think explains why his value—wasn't what you thought it would be.

I suppose this also Is Hurts to be blamed for.

"Roseman and [Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf] didn’t meet face-to-face at the owners meetings in Arizona, but right around then, they picked talks back up," Breer wrote. "Roseman reiterated he’d need a first in return. Wolf was still unwilling to move his 2027 first-round pick, but they started to discuss making a 2028 first-rounder the focus of a deal, just as the Eagles had with the Rams. That was enough for the Eagles to give their trainers permission to talk to the Patriots trainers about Brown’s injury history, which happened right around April 1. They passed along his scans — which were key, given that his degenerative knee condition, which he has effectively managed throughout his career, was what led to the Titanstrading him in the first place back in 2022."

The fact that Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailatasounded downright relieved last week that the Brown-related saga was over may say plenty about how some Philadelphia players viewed the 28-year-old this spring.

This has so clearly been weighing on the rest of our team. Not sure why everybody isn’t getting this? Our team captain for THE EAGLES…last thing he wanted was to be an Eagles. Tearing up the locker room chemistry and team cohesion. Seems like most players like AJ…,far from a geek…while also admiring his talent….not too mention look up to him how he’s handle business as an NFL player. NFL been very successful for the owners holding supreme power and leverage over their athletes. AJ that player kind of stood up to them and forced his way financially.

Which really was enabled by Rosie. No way AJ flat cuts off negotiations with Titans without knowing Rosie was in line ready to pay up.

Wondering if Rosie makes a move for the QB ineligible because he gambled? Supplemental draft path guy.

It’s the kind of move Rosie would attempt. Figuring Tanner already been deciding to be traded. But drafted a QB. So the numbers might be against taking the chance. They’ve seen the rook first hand now though in our system. So if he hasn’t looked the part? Could open things up to make this move.

Rosie seems to get majority of credit…but really so much actually due to Lurie. Eagles under Lurie not shy about utilizing any means possible towards bettering the team. Lurie enables levels of financials and freedoms for any GM to succeed.

Example: not shy offering top pay towards undrafted FA opportunities.

Rosie thrived from Lurie sticking by him providing that long term security only a few GM ever been provided. Rosie main weapon  been based on Lurie massively bringing the liquid money into this franchise. Rosie can sign guys early. Pay big cash while relying on Lurie so flexibly always making sure the cash isn’t an obstacle. Heck …the opposite under Lurie is my point…it’s been such a very key asset.

Okay I'm not quite about how I think Hurts can play but I totally expect him to have a much better year than last year. With Mannion being a much better OC than we had last year. I still expect us to make the playoffs win the division and compete in the playoffs with anyone. That i put on the defense. Hurts SHOULD be passing for around 4000 yards 30+ TD but unless he tops his best season he won't.

Because AJ, Smitty, Geodart none of the can win against zone coverage lol…. Doesn’t matter if we have a zone beater if Hurts won’t throw the tight window passes not even Lemon you no to be running wide open against zone coverage lol

Another terrible take to try and make excuse for Hurts
