Goedert said. "I feel like through watching what he wants to happen, there’s a lot of easy touches to the tight end, getting the ball in space, scheming ways to get us open. So I’m excited for that.

All completely new for him..,. So refreshing to start trying to get a real O going. Just listen how basic Goedert’s items are he’s expecting Mannion to bring in.

Veteran T, Lane, is very excited about a less stagnant O.

Also hard to give the effort when you know the QB isn’t going to make the throw

Life has been real tough expected to do his job for just pennies…not like he was getting paid a million dollars or anything…..then he’d have no excuse.

Hurts having issues already. Not hitting crap. I'm give him a "bad day" star, but this has to be better. I know it's early, but he should be hitting the majority of these. The excuse train needs to stop

Seeing all these posts regarding the offense, it absolutely seems the Eagles were set to go all in with the system Mannion brings. You start to understand why Stoutland is no longer here. Changing blocking schemes to where it seems the OL relies more on assignments rather than just winning a one on one battle. You see OL excited about this according to all reports. Lane and Mailata specifically.

It doesn't seem like this systen is going anywhere, so like I've said since the winter, it seems the players are going to have to fit in. We all know which one has the big contract.

Yeah Lane said he was "excited to have a guard". Your post is spot on(as usual). Seems they will play more as a unit as you said. I found this article a bit sad because Hurts was doing 7 on 7. he was a star at the 7 on 7 flag BS fake"probowl", but he's missing passes with his own team?? Wonderful(ugh)

Just taking a guess here. The scheme seems to be leaning towards the O line pushing downfield instead of just standing and defending. This was the issue under Moore and why they kept getting "illegal man downfield" calls. This was due to the use of the RPO as opposed to play/action, so apparently(too soon to know) Mannion has worked around that and is doing what Moore tried to do unsuccessfully. This time though the O line seems to understand it, so kudos already to Mannion for outcoaching Moore. If successful this will stop the RB's from getting caught in the backfield. Seems to me the O line is going to push forward to the next level(LB's). This should open up major opportunities for the running game. The key to not getting illegal man downfield calls is for the QB to get the ball where it needs to be(hand off or pass) quickly. Not really one of Hurts best assets. If he is missing passes as the above article states, then getting the ball out fast won't matter if the accuracy isn't there

Not any surprises. No Smitty against our elite D returning…it’s going to take time. Completely laughable that some would expect things much if any other way.

How sick is our D looking?

Another shocker was Uar Benard was handled with ease.

That's been the theme the last few weeks, but at this point it's irrelevant.

The idea for me is the system is what the organization wants and the QB is going to have to adjust... not the other way around.

Instead of looking to fit a scheme/ system for an expensive QB....the reality is they want to see if the QB is worth paying by seeing if he fits into the system.

Hurts denied he asked for that last play of the season…interesting….

Yeah we've all read various articles about Hurts changing plays to suit himself, instead of following the game plan. He must have little confidence in himself to step outside his tiny box of knowledge. I'm not buying "oh he has new WR's" either. He didn't know the guys at the fake BS "pro bowl" and lit it up there, but now that all vanishes before our eyes because now he actually has to face a defense. Now he even has writers making excuses. Not only did it start badly, it kept degrading as they went on. Not a good look. It's Siri's fault 🤣. We know Hurts can only play if he is surrounded by "elite" or by pro bowlers, because he hasn't proven otherwise. The emperor has no clothes. Luckily it's very early, but they better get busy. Not going to panic, but not what I was hoping to hear. GO CANES!!!!

I'm not really sure what you are talking about... I was referring to OTAs.... seems like another rough one today.

Really doesn't mean anything though, nothing counts until September

That Hurts would audible plays to make them more comfortable for HIMself and that when he went to the pro bowl as an alternate he did very well and had no experience with those WR's either. But once you put a defense in front of him, all that star power dies on the vine unless you have elite people around him at every position. He's really never had to struggle here. The fact he was missing WR's after 6 years as a pro is not good. A route is a route and he should not be looking like a rookie

Eli Stowers is a ways off as well

Riq got Hurts grabbing it from Goedert.

Wicks talking about Eveybody needs to line up right and their correct routes.

The Eagles considered sending Brown to an NFC team – and not just any NFC team, but one already seen as an early Super Bowl favorite. The Rams offered a 2028 first-rounder

Rams evidently had a deal in place to trade Devonte Adams to help them afford the trade for AJ. Fell through as the Ram’s doctors sifted through received medicals on AJ degenerative knee condition.

This is just ..wow! If they did make that trade for AJ….we likely would have won the Myles Garrett sweepstakes.

But either way creating that Rams ultra contesting team would have signaled our clear lack of any belief about being All In.
