All those top football so inside knowledgable surrounding all things surrounding Hurts. Really working all together even…because they’ll all be playing out clear thoughts exposing aspects with blueprints to hurt…Hurts.

With hiring the so very green OC in Mannion? Expectations would optimistically even point towards we are developing him. So taking the lumps more so this first season highly likely. But payoff would come from Mannion being the quality enough O mind to actually adapt and formulate answers in return….possibly, or most realistically, not until next season.

Two media members in attendance at OTA minicamps labeling O not good and looking chaotic even.

"To get to where we want to go, we need each other, and not in this sport, can we do it alone," Sirianni said. "If you want to do it alone, you got to pick another sport.”

I heard this as Siri’s version of what Tomlin worded as "his team needs volunteers not hostages.”

Siri as sounding out in his way to all in the know towards the AJ situation being finally moved forward from.

"It starts with the respect level," Jackson said via Up & Adams. "And I don't know if you saw a few times last year, and I know you have. Did you see those looks and those eye contacts? But what is that? Nick Sirianni, A.J. Brown, him coming off the field, Nick Sirianni going to cuss him out or say certain things. And then you walking into the locker room and you looking at your head coach like, don't say nothing to me, I don't respect you."

Hurts being off right now is the least of my worries.

He's had a new OC every year he's been in the NFL and now is doing things he's never been asked to do.

What specific things do you think he is doing now that he hasn't done in prior in OTAs?

These are all games this seasons schedule realistically very bad matchups and situations for Hurts to face. He really just shouldn’t look or be great stat production producing in any of these games I mentioned here on a row.

If Hurts doesn't have good stats then we won't win against teams like Seattle and Rams he needs to have good games against elite competition or they just stack thr box on the run and we'll lose.

Not necessarily... look how many games we won last year while he played like crap. If the defense is elite.. we could definitely have some wins like vs Detroit last year.

Working from under center and throwing across the middle consistently

Something most of us here have been waiting for a number of years to see.

It's the working from under center that's the biggest change

He runs the O on the field. If he is off, everyone else will be too. He's not a rookie, he SUPPOSED to be a professional at his craft.

Moore tried it, so it's not really different. Maybe since Mannion was a QB he can get Hurts to understand where Moore could not. Regardless, as a QB you have to make the throws, and what we're hearing thus far is Hurts is NOT making the throws. Things OC's cannot teach 1)Field vision-Hurts stinks at this totally2) Going through checkdowns-Hurts ignores this or makes 2 reads max, and to go along with that we have- 3) Decision making-Hurts is weak here at best even after making his 2 read max. At the fake BS 7 on 7 flag "pro" bowl Hurts totally shined. Now with 7 on 7's in OTA's he stinks because NOW he has to play vs a an actual defense. QB needs to go through 4 reads usually, rule out 3 quickly and get the ball to the best option. 4 reads would include the 2 wide outs, the slot and the TE and/or a RB out of the backfield(read 1 is the called play). 1 read may be dismissed at the LOS if you can read defenses. After the decision has been made the ball needs to hit the target and right now Hurts looks JV at best and it's not a good look. As a former musician, I can tell you after(well you never really master an instrument) a few years, I could step in and play with any band anywhere doing any song and believe me I wasn't paid 55 million a year to do it, so if you've mastered your craft or at least become adept at it,the excuses for poor performance fall away. Right now we'd be looking at a rerun of the Moore O where we had to pull that back. If Hurts is fanning that many passes in OTA's he will once again lead the league in picks. While it's very early, and there is no need to panic at this point, this needs to be a major point of issue for Mannion. Is the scheme bad or is the QB bad?? Do I adjust the scheme for the QB(KISS) or do I press on for the O I really had envisioned. I guess we'll find out when camp arrives. Essay over(LOL)

Looking at Love's 2025 stats, they are the same roughly as Hurts was around 3400 yards(2024 about the same). Loves best year was his first @ 4100(2023) so someone pulled him back also so it's difficult for me to discern exactly what Mannion wants to accomplish. If he wanted the WC offense in GB that didn't pan out. The WC offense(in my view) is north of 4000 passing yards and that was shut down in GB also. So, with that being said, I have no clue what this offense is going to be. If the big change is just starting under center and having the same low passing stats, IDK what that actually accomplishes. Maybe others on here can offer me a perspective I'm not seeing

So he never did these things in prior OTAs?

Not to the extent that he's being asked to do it now

Do you honestly think installing yet another new offense will come without some speedbumps.

I thought you knew better than that

Rosie was prepared agreeing trading AJ to the Rams…that was very telling for me about Rosie’s point of view. Rams pre-Garret were already a top predicted NFC favorite.  Practically the last thing you’d actually do if you believed 2026 Eagles were contending.

Completely as different and inexperienced in this O as players get. Listening to Wicks he stated very clearly it’s all the O players needing to get the details correct. Wicks straight called out guys not aligning correctly as well as not running correct routes. You have all that going on before even begin linking things to Hurts.

Now Hurts is facing much more work than it seems is being even close to being recognized. Mannion is expect is breaking down endlessly with Hurts on his fundamentals. Under C drops dictate timing and footwork. Specific ball placement in the drop as well as throwing. Example: Three step drop….specifically like this. That’s most likely what’s on the forefront of the work for Hurts right now.

Listening to Mannion this is what got me hopeful and a bit excited. He’s well trained in specific details of the QB job in this O.gotta pound endless reps into Hurts on all these fundamental new factors. Hurts will walk out better for it in the end. That’s if Siri will allow any learning occurring finally?

What experience does Hurts have with a three step drop? As minimal as possible for such an awarded accomplished NFL QB.

Seems too many unrealistically don’t consider any learning curve needing to be accepted or taking place. This is Siri thinking unfortunately. The environment that created this entire situation and scenario to unfold like it has here. Siri short termed every choice this entire time. Since he had Kelce to call the blocking assignments….unfortunately for Siri that registered to him as giving him the option of skipping coaching his QB in this/these areas. Siri limited most any control or options Hurts had at his disposal in fact. All added to Siri being that coach that power ego hunger pretty much demanding run the play as called under him. Siri made sure Hurts was only equipped with as minimal audible options and power as possible. Exactly making things all the more predictable….while just blatantly failing development of our franchises best ever QB. Shameful…infuriating even!

It was Moore that equipped Hurts to run the O. All in one season Hurts for the first time took on the responsibilities all at once. Hurts proved in fact he was more than capable to perform all these tasks well. All that Hurts had been lacking that is absolutely required was: qualified O mind that was capable of actually coaching…providing an O scheme to finally produce from.

Scheme huge missing element too many oversimplifying ..or just forgetting….reading a D well completely depends on scheme. Scheme provides built in answers with expectations. Each play every single O player reads and adjusts according to D playcall. Totally opposite of nonscheme one step thinker Siri O. He has a small limited playbook. No scheme. Players don’t adjust …just forced to succeed regardless…pretty much overcoming.

Point about quality ‘read’…is understanding much more than oversimplified versions fans cling to about just identifying D playcall and alignment. That is a key element…but just one step in the process. Once you identify the D playcall….the key actually more surrounding having the answer of how it should be approached. QB eyes watching for a certain defender reacting in conflict. That S choosing…becomes the QBs ‘read.’ In a scheme….its all built in there already. Proven and tested with any and all answers of how to proceed accordingly.
