August 3Aug 3 You prefer 80 yard bomb stats that leads to losing over kneeling the ball killing the clock for the victory. Like those minus four rushing yards winning are frowned upon as some how winning is bad. Killing the clock with a lead being villainized. Being blown out the guy just passes tons praised as preferable. But hey…being in the lead and killing clock controlling the ball with winning football clearly produces so much lesser opportunities to pad stats. So proven winning smart football …is bad. Like Chip Kelly ball greatest best. Always had more possessions extending the clock.
August 3Aug 3 Why did that player not go out of bounds with three seconds left? Didn’t maximize stats…those dang winners. Get out of bounds….chuck it deep…why limit opponents opportunity to win?
August 3Aug 3 Eagles been elite at icing games with a lead. Killing last five minutes not giving the ball back to the opponents guaranteeing victory. But that’s bad..ok
August 3Aug 3 Why even P? Losing all those opportunities to chuck it deep to get stats. Who cares if it fails the opponent gets the ball on our ten yard line? Stupid winning football strategy just too often kills individual stat padding.

That will tell me who I would rather have in crunch time.Hurts had talent having to produce in 32nd absolutely worst O coaching conditions. Best D coach on Hurts team. So killing clock having a fantastic D means Hurts sucks? That dang winning football. Relying on great coach Fangio is great winning foot ball. But terrible O stat production. Having leads and killing clock icing victories at elite levels? I believed it a fantastic weapon. Every opponent knew they faced it also,..adding pressure earlier. But losing forced to pass a ton to catch up is more preferable is what you’re saying? QBs with leads suck….QBs playing a D up by multiple TDs allow easier passing production. Who runs the ball when losing big? Losing must be better. Losing teams don’t run clock.
August 3Aug 3 Did you see that one game with ten seconds left before halftime? On our own 15….such a low chance anything positive towards scoring could happen. But that’s just the factors towards winning. Took a knee and went to halftime. Should have chucked the ball up. Opponent really favored in that situation of finding any way of scoring. But why play to win? Could have easily padded some stats in there. Completed a quick pass and got out of bounds. Given is a two plays to pad stats with hardly any chance to score. But taking the risk with no chance of scoring to pad extra stats is a that matters. Uh oh….they sacked fumbled and scored on us. Oh well…only chance to pad stats. Points only matter to winners.
August 3Aug 3 Best time to take huge risks and go for 50/50 balls clearly when not much time left when you have a lead. How else will your opponent have any chance score and win? Why protect a lead just to win limiting the levels of risk? Throw into double coverage. Only way to pad 40 more passing yards. silly old guys used to only take biggest risks when down big and really forced to.
August 3Aug 3 No huddle high risk get out of bounds at all costs best football. You know how many stats are generating every single game by doing that? Like two extra possessions every game. Heck if the D lets out opponent score quick purposely or because they suck? That’s best football..because our O can generate more stats that way. If your D is good and tackles guys in bounds the O loses opportunity to pad stats.
August 3Aug 3 Those teams with good defenses that routinely have the lead are the worst. They just waste time winning. Teams with terrible D usually losing really tend to stop the clock often and pass.If only our D was terrible and we stopped getting the lead. Worse yet always running out the clock at the end just securing victories. All time elite at icing games when leading. Fire everybody! Just wasting all that stat production could have been going on. Staying in bounds….not letting the opponent even get the ball back. Can you believe that’s been our philosophy? Purposely limiting opportunities at stat padding and production.

Staying in bounds….not letting the opponent even get the ball back. Can you believe that’s been our philosophy? Purposely limiting opportunities at stat padding and production.Throw throw throw…might all end up being incomplete and only twenty seconds comes off the clock. But gotta take those risks to get those stats. Heck…who cares if opponent gets two drive opportunities that way instead of not even getting one? We’d get a whole other chance to pad stats another series.
August 3Aug 3 How often have we run three straight times getting first downs and not getting out of bounds? Throw deep. Incomplete stops the clock…that’s good. Either get big boost padding stats or interception. Either way it’s quick. Quick interceptions way better than first downs staying in bounds.
August 3Aug 3 Fire Fangio! Get rid of all these great defenders. Killing our O stat production. The bad Ds give up long quick scores provide so much more opportunities and need for O to get those stats. D tackling in bounds and holding opponents to only one first down killing us. Twice as much time being wasted for our O to get stats than giving up big plays. If you don’t cover deep so well that fast WR probably only takes like 15 seconds to score. Clearly our O can generate more stats if the D stops making it harder for teams to score.
August 3Aug 3 We had three timeouts left and didn’t use them. So dumb…we could have stopped the clock while leading to squeeze in more stats. Not like we were out of timeouts when we just let the clock run with the lead. Call all three and pass three times. Much better way to generate stats. They didn’t use all their TOs, ran the clock….and even kneeled at the end. Lost two rushing yards each kneel down. Probably could have created a couple more possessions in the game. Throw it deep. Score quick or they intercept it. Either way wouldn’t be just killing so much stat production opportunity, Heck instead of opponent not touching the ball again…they could get two more drives in. Especially if they score quick. That would be best way to generate more stats. Not like anybodies goal factors in keeping opponents from scoring. Give up two quick scores and our O could have easily produced another 40 passing yards instead of losing yards kneeling.
August 3Aug 3 Siri’s exact whole design and philosophy has been run the ball, play tough D, control the clock and ice games while leading. Can you imagine a worse way to produce the most stats? Actually limiting possessions so much. On purpose…what’s he thinking? Chip Kelly no huddle O wearing down our D obviously so much better. We fired him preferring to win SBs. So dumb! Who cares about champions? All that matters is create more possessions so you can generate more stats. Whole time we actually been a dominant run team. Worst way to make sure most possessions occur.
August 3Aug 3 Who throws a parade and celebrates winning and championships? I only attend the huge parades thrown for putting up large stats in losses. Imagine if you won the SB 10-7. When instead could have scored 34 giving up 40 every regular season game without having to deal with those extra playoff games. 0-17 teams have terrible Ds that don’t bog down opponents from scoring. Always behind losing teams stop the clock protecting time while taking risks. Clearly easier to generate stats that way. If only we could be more like those guys.
August 3Aug 3 We made AJ a champion instead of focusing in on his individual stat numbers. AJ ego should have priority to be fed over team winning. Got him a championship ring …but he dropped spots in the following fantasy draft. Where were our priorities?

Those only go up when great individual stat production gets high fantasy draft positions.
August 3Aug 3 I even witnessed this one stupid website kept track of win/ loss records. If it’s not fantasy stats tracking what good is it? Same site actually ranked defenses backwards. Noticed for some dumb reason it had best tackling team that made it tough to score as number one. Terrible! Clearly a terrible D limiting O stat production. They actually had the D worst passing D ranked last. Clearly best at letting opponents score quicker. Terrible tackling giving up big plays. Who better to create more O stat opportunities?
August 3Aug 3 You know what’s really killing us? Drafted Q and DeJean with top picks. Paid big money to Baun and great tacklers. Don’t give up big plays and tackle often in bounds. So stupid! Top picks and top money going to players totally limiting our O. They appear to actually trying to make it hard instead of giving up quick scores. If only we’d drafted those slow terrible tackling DBs instead. O would get more opportunities for stat generating then. Playing two S deep so often. Worst way to let themScore quickly. Don’t know what we’re thinking? It’s like we just keep winning and being a playoff team. That whole time could have been generating more stats…just need to focus on the right priorities.
August 3Aug 3 Hurts fault for sure. Keeps running for first downs and having us with the lead. Just kept wasting clock with the lead so no more possessions to generate stats could be had. How many times did he ice games with like five minutes to go? It’s the worst! He actually almost appears to purposely prioritize team over his individual stat production. What could be worse? Why doesn’t he just focus on his individual ego feeding? Need to focus on losing so generate more passing stats. Then won’t kill the last five minutes of games. It’s almost like he’d rather kneel down and win. Loses yards while limiting individual stats production. Entire time he should be chucking it deep. Why can’t he lose more so he can generate more passing opportunities. Whole time could have been passing more losing. Hopefully he can convince our D to give up more big plays. They hardly ever do. If only he can find a way to get those D guys from tackling too. Stacked with all the wrong defenders that tackle well in bounds.
August 3Aug 3 Author 5 hours ago, DownwithDallas said:So you are telling me that he is over paid.Yeah he is, the stat line doesn't match the pay especially after he QUIT on the team last year. O line was hurt so not many tush pushes which was how Hurts looked so good. His passing is mediocre and he fanned on the running game he was paid for last year. Hurts can redeem himself or do the same BS as last year and fall down like a little girl or run 12 yards horizontally to gain 2 yards. He used to turn those up field and burn defenses. Now teams don't even bother to spy him because they know he's not going to run. We'll ride with Hurts this year, then I believe we look at other options. Defense gives Hurts the ball back often and they kept us in games last year. Looks like a lights out D this year which should be a top unit. The O never responded last year to the D saving them. That was on Hurts. New PRO offense going in. No more college boy ball. Hurts needs to take that step up or he won't be here. If he stays we're going to be giving up huge money that we could use to keep this team relevant. Maybe ride him in '27 also(time will tell), allowing Howie to try and replace some key positions. Hurts can buy another year with great play this year. I don't see him here after 2027. We need to pay Smitty, maybe Wicks if he looks good, defense contracts coming due, Lemon is on a rook contract as is Stowers. Those 2 are for the future QB not Hurts. Need to find Lane's replacement. Very tough shoes to fill. Howie is doing stellar work. Now Mannion needs Hurts to play the QB position. We shall see if he responds to it
