exactly, he can't just hand the ball off and occasionally look for the perfectly open receiver. he needs to run the offense within the scheme and learn to throw the ball to a spot, depending more on timing and not just trying to throw to a wide-open target.

im hopeful that he will get it. we shall see.

I disagree. I think the team can absolutely win the way it's been winning the last 4 years. We run the ball at an elite level ( except for last year) the defense plays well. And the occasional pass.. that's been the formula.

They get off of it every September...and then the new OC realizes they can't win throwing it 30 times.

For me.. they keep winning this way for the next year or two...then they make the roster move that opens up the cap space. They don't pay $65 million to a player.

Howie and co are not stupid. They are business people.

Weather pushing practice inside. To many it’s probably just a small detail. But it actually has ramifications. Jefferson Health is much smaller and tighter. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal except….got to remember there are 89 players in TC. So bottom of the roster likely really suffers. That’s a ton going on inside.

So Lemon not looking super ready and polished. Shouldn’t be a surprise being he’s a rookie. Plus he’s facing Cooper mostly. He’s no Smitty. Stowers looking not ready to even dress on game days. Third round pick was a positional reach. Was a crap draft class. So…..production isn’t coming much from the rookie class.

Finally could be possible actually having a scheme implemented finally. Hard to do when your O you are trying to operate doesn’t have it… or much of any thing it.

Seems to be how it works. OC's want to "open up" the offense, then realize the QB is a mirage and have to dial back their dreams of 4500 passing yards LOL. Sadly we have/had the offense to do that if 1 position wasn't lagging behind the curve. Still behind the curve so we may see more of the same as you pointed out. Lemon and Stowers will take this time to learn what most rooks learn, the NFL speed is a step up from college boy ball. Lemon should come around after he dials himself up. Stowers-no rush. Seems Mannion is happy with Mundt. Stowers can take his time, but he is a definite weapon in the future. Bell may be a decent BU pick in time. We know when Lane goes no one is going to just step into an all pro role. Would be nice, but reality says no. Like to see a high draft pick maybe next year at OT. From what I see it's going to be a mostly defensive draft. Just tons of S's and LB's. Hope we can find the few scattered O line players. But that's next year. 2 nice QB's in that draft though. Stay tuned

I saw softball on the casino bar TV... wondering if that's your girls playing??

What do you give as the Over/Under until Grizzard begins calling the plays?

Over/Under on when Jalen Hurts breaks his finger being under C so much?

Yeah FL I’m believing the same with Mundt. Just a quality solid all around TE that’s already likely familiar with much of the O

As far as Lane going down? Find a way to get Darrisaw would be so ideal.

Thing is? Financials. Feels likes to me everything going to start catching up and coming to a head regarding Rosie’s Magic contracts.

Rosie is obviously a very smart guy. So always have to give a second thought almost before questioning. I’ll give him that credit for sure. In that light, maybe he’s understanding a huge leap forward coming ahead in the salary cap. Some new TV/Streaming contract….along with we all know a 18 game season has always just been coming on its way.

  • Hurts’ success wasn’t limited to facing the Eagles’ backup defenders. During 7-on-7, Hurts made his flashiest completion of camp thus far by throwing with anticipation over the middle into the end zone to split the safeties and connect with Elijah Moore for a touchdown.

Uh oh #Hurtshaters!!!!! Got a real O…timing pass over the middle. The advanced playbook has reached Philly! Haha…well since Moore implementing Playaction seemed like adding elite advanced football play to Siri‘S O….timing pass over the middle probably more High school JV added…still a huge leap.

Can you believe it, actually looks like could be a purpose in huddling up finally under Siri. Siri probably will learn quite a bit this season.

Huge leap advancing to a inexperienced coach first time already jumped up to OC

Siri will make sure he doesn’t succeed. Don’t worry #Hurthaters. Hurts has been doomed pretty much the entire time. Our QB1 is a fighter though!

Yeah IDK maybe it was just "a game" LOL. Or maybe different age divisions or something

Nobody survives the 2021 setup…Hurts saved the entire organization. Been our best run ever arguably as well. 2-5 Siri start after trainwreck TC coming in….capped out team couldn’t add any talent…no way they team should have really even been competitive. Got Siri out of the way and absolutely flourished. Huge run to dig out and make the playoffs overcoming no where near qualified HC that believed he was the O mind. That run just grew. Straight through how Goodell had to pull every favor and every ounce of power cheating Hurts out of his first championship. Year two as a starter.

Watched 2023 how Siri at least rode out for a 10-1 start with our stud such fierce competitors overcoming Siri to refuse to lose….well…until just couldn’t even be competitive.

2-5 2021….can’t even be competitive versus worst playoff team 2023….finally having the OC job looking decently attractive..well you know returning all but one starter on dominating SB champions on O but still under Siri. What does he do when he can actually likely lure best qualified O mind? Promotes the break in case of emergency option right hand puppet Patullo.

Wondering how many weeks Mannion bangs his head on the table trying to get "marvelous" from "mediocre" 🤣 . I think it will take longer this year with the "we have a new scheme let it play out" until reality hits that we are "playing ourselves out of post season" trying to turn coal into diamonds. It's a LONG train ride from the mine to the showroom, I just hope we aren't "Bedazzled"
