Probably waiting somewhere to say I told you we can’t win without Hurts even though we are on a 3 game losing streak with Hurts. But the injuries are why we lost and bad coaching….

This week specifically will be because Hurts isn’t playing everything else is just an excuse for any other player

Or.... we may see a better passing game?

Why do you think they don't have smoothies?

And Damien Pierce in....because Breece Hall, David Montgomery and Rashid Rice are out and Aaron Jones is on a bye... lol. Just some fantasy talk to mix in.

I do think the passing game will look better actually think this offense is better suited for a more traditional passer that has to play with timing and rhythm passing. Think it will also help the OL if we can actually get the ball out of Tanners hands quickly

That’s a tough one is Pierce the right play? I’m hoping we can get the ground game going some this week. Be great if we can wear down the panthers with the duo of Pierce and Steele both are bigger RBs Pierce is what 220 then Steele is 230

I know they want be at the level of Blount & Ajayi but closest thing I could think of for us having two bigger RB splitting carries for us…. Teams were just gassed trying to tackle these 2 all game long

I did pick up Tanner in fantasy though off chance he finds success also have Darius Cooper…. 14 team league waiver wire is rough not much available lol

That's what I'm hoping for.

Sounding like we won’t have Kendall or Dickerson this week.

On the good side at least we have the same 5 guys playing together again hopefully that helps the OL play.

I know it not going to happen but the Carson Wentz memes that are going around now are pretty hilarious 😂

Had to use him in 2 leagues as a flex... you get a point per every 5 carries. One is no PPR...the other is a 1/2 PPR. He should get enough touches..

McKee 3 TD's, 1 rushing TD, 2 FG's

If they can get the run game going and stay out of 3rd & infinity, McKee will flourish with play action.

Ok.... I realize the generation gap here....fitness came mainstream with Arnold , Lou Ferigno , Franco Columbo etc in the 70s... then my generation X took it to the next level, now it's sports science for this Gen Y, Millennial age.

Trust me...smoothies now is like your car having power windows. They have smoothies and they eat very healthy at Novacare...the players hang out there during the off-season. They have chefs etc.

But if you want ro feel better ... Celek talked about the smoothies and yoga extending his career.

I can't think if a better analogy.. maybe going to a bar and not thinking they have beer? Smoothies is basic fitness and health stuff.. I'd be shocked if these players of this generation haven't had smoothies since they were 12 or 13 years old.

Ask ASG to ask his grandson... talk to a 20 year old you see that looks like he is an athlete.

Idk what else to say to try to make the point.. " boy i think that sprinter should use sneakers " idk... it's 2026 now... Chip was 2013 and it wasn't new then... the part that Chip brought to light was the custom flavors.

If you have a favorite flavor ice cream... you can probably make a smoothie with the same exact if not better flavor. That's what Chip's era made a point to highlight.

I remember having the shore house ( that's a house at the beach , local term because we say go down the shore to mean go to the beach) ...late 90s... we went to the gym and we had the protein powder etc for the " smoothie" was like mixing cement and tasted pretty bad. The evolution of how easy mixing and the great taste was all prior and during the Chip era.

Chip just had each player create their custom flavor. It wasn't anything new to fitness.

But I guess if the QB smoking a cigarette on the sideline is something a person witnesses, I can understand how nuance a smoothie must sound.

You see documentaries of the Vermeil era... and they drank water out of the hoses. They used to not tell the players to drink...to make them tough. They also used to play 6 preseason games.

They were backwards in a lot of the thinking in fitness and taking care of the players.

Guys got hurt, we just expect it less now, especially with the luck we have had lately.

But I will make an observation... the teams that have the dominant lines always seem to suffer less injuries. We don't have that now. Even at full strength on offense. Superior line play makes for less work for the rest of the team and makes the opponent work more. That's what is missing.

Around the entire major sports industry...

The NFL grades... left is cafeteria and kitchen facilities....right = dietician and nutrition.

These are player's grades. Notice SF with pretty elite grades... yet they have had so many injuries, probably one could argue THE MOST in the entire league.

Sometimes it's just bad luck.
