I mean the screen comes down to blocking for sure at this point would like to see a wrinkle off it fake the screen pass and go to anyone else I’m sure teams will over commit on Lemon at this point.

As for the rest hard to use the PA and other fakes when your not having success running or passing. If we can start stringing together some successful plays the fakes will be more useful

I said from the start I didn’t think Hurts fit with the style of offense that Mannion was supposedly brining which was based heavily on timing and rhythmic passing. Hurts game is holding the ball extending plays etc.

With Tanner being a more traditional pocket QB hopefully we start to see some success with the more timing based elements of this offense.

You have to remember Tanner gets like no snaps on a normal week of practice. I don't expect him to be as crisp as you're thinking he will be, but I hope he puts up a 50 burger.

Tanner can re-establish what he lost after he put up 70 in 2 games. After that he failed. So maybe he can get the shine back he lost. I know 52 plus staff that also hopes that happens. The med ward is going to need more beds for awhile. The theme from M*A*S*H keeps playing in my head

He had this entire week at practice so not quite the same as being fresh off the bench mid game either

I like the idea of bringing up Jayden Blue this week as well try and wear down the Panthers with 2 bigger RBs in Pierce and Steele then sprinkle in speedy Blue.

Sure but he also had an entire offseason with a handful of the guys that are in line to start like Cooper and Lemon… not expecting this to be some perfect start from Tanner but again him being a more traditional passer could aid this passing game as well

Pierce was AWOL. I liked what Steele did in pre. He runs hard doesn't quit. Blue can be Sproles 2.0 out of the backfield

Steele could be the next Darius Cooper. I love a good underdog. This is Steeles chance to put himself on the proverbial map. Even if he doesn't stay here, he can get enough notice to have some type of career as a BU. As far as the Panthers, they have little tape on these guys to plan for LOL, so I hope we impact them early,then hang on. After going so long without scoring in the first 1/4, now we do, but don't score after the half LOL

At the same time, a QB who sees the field and doesn't hesitate to throw because the guy isn't completely wide open... we may see him get rid of the ball faster. Also, may e he sees over the line better?

Probably waiting somewhere to say I told you we can’t win without Hurts even though we are on a 3 game losing streak with Hurts. But the injuries are why we lost and bad coaching….

This week specifically will be because Hurts isn’t playing everything else is just an excuse for any other player
