Local flavor..still not agreeing with coaches decision... but some of these Hurts stans are coming around.

" I'm not saying Hurts didn't do his part, but I expect extraordinary things from an extraordinary player" this is Hugh Douglass. Big Hurts fan.

He is starting to get it. It's not about blaming Hurts, it's about him not being the type of QB to raise the play of the team. A difference maker for what he is getting paid.

They spoke about the time management on the last drive leading up to the FG. Apparently Goedert was open in the middle of the field where he threw to Lemon who ran out of bounds to stop the clock for Jax.

The way he pawns off decision making and his ability to change things.

This is my issue... forget the actual passing, I'm seeing him make incorrect reads or not adjust to what's happening.

We see him handoff on a read option or keep it...and it seems to be the wrong read. He sees 3 rushers vs 2 blockers and doesn't adjust protection etc.

These things add up over the course of the game. You aren't a robot, at this level the QB needs to be in control.

But his stans act like he is a genius when he adjusts a play that works ...once per month??? Come on man.

Penix was making audible calls last night against the Baltimore blitz all night. It's the job of a QB. This is a problem for a 7 year QB if he can't do it.

Penix will be a good QB, the BU for the Ravens was also making great reads. Hurts ran for a whopping 2 yards vs Jax LOL. If you take away the mediocre passing that is 26 million per yard

How did your grandson do this week? You need to update us all weekly, since it's tough finding Wyoming games on the east coast

Not a good week We're trying to figure out the personnel groupings and rotation.

Wyoming has 2 260 pound tight ends both Seniors, both watching the team set stuffed from the 2 on 3 tries following the worst 2 blocking TEs on the team

A caller.. long time Hurts stan... was on the phone ripping him pretty bad and saying " he gotta go" and to be honest seems more of that from his former stans.

At least Hurts didn't try to run the ball instead of spiking it. Did you see how Daniels was laughing after that play?

Of course what else can he do at that point

I guess there's a reason Wyo is 10-23 under their HC

Maybe he can replace Siri

Watching football... it seems we see so many dumb decisions by coaches and players... so much basic stuff getting wrong.. it's weird.

Which Eagles coach has the best record?

Don't know

My guesses would be Vermeil, AR then Siri

We've entered the Twilight Zone

Siri has the best record..plus the only one who has been to the Superbowl twice... or won it out of those 3

Personally I think Vermeil is the best coach of my lifetime though.. the obstacle of overcoming that Dallas dynasty is nothing that either Reid or Sirianni have faced. Division just not good

I saw they have 4 TE's. Tough for him to break in. Blocking TE's are too under rated. Send my best and hope the coach wakes up!!!

Vermeil also had to overcome having Norman Braman as an owner. AR and Siri didn't have that millstone around their neck

College kids now at QB just not taught the same watch a ton of QBs talk about how under developed modern QBs are compared to the things they had to do.

Coaches feel like it’s analytics instead of seeing what’s happening on the field. Well the numbers suggest we should go for it in reality we can’t get a yard behind our OL take the 3 points

Analytics is probably my even bigger here in Philly v other teams as well since Lurie is a huge believer in analytics and in extension Howie.

Wrong owner... Tose still owned the team with Vermeil

Watching Washington... even Jax at the end of the half, other games around the league, just awful decision making and awareness.

It's bad, the reffing still sucks too. They call this "progress"

LOL which was worse?

This is not the Eagles year, so go for best draft choices because we need a new offensive line.

It's only week 5 LOL

Tose was fine. He was just a gambling drunk and that's why he had to sell.

How do you propose to do that?

I think he means sandbag to get a higher pick. But we know Howie, he will do whatever it takes to get the guy he wants. I was just messing with mock drafts in '27(bored). Don't really know the guys yet, but most have us picking around 14th which at this point seems fairly accurate for "precision guesswork" 10-15 seems reasonable LOL

So Lampkin and Kendall....Lemon, Wicks, Cooper....all going to sandbag?

Hard to believe given how much money these guys make.

Joe, just before the season started, you were/seemed pretty high on the Eagles’ defense. What changed?

Seems like several people here are down on Dejean. He is asked to do a LOT on this defense. They would nkt be near as good without him. He has missed some tackles, but what CB hasn’t?

Rams run a WR screen and the two blockers are offensive linemen.

Eagles run a WR screen and the two blockers are Devontae Smith and Zach Ertz.

Results? You don’t have to guess.

Go figure.
