We (me at least) wanted to see McKee with the 1's. Not happening overnight as alot of our 1's are out. O line is really our issue and getting Bark back would help. Even with a reduce O line he's still a good RB and capable of making some yards. Really so decimated, it's unfortunate

With Hurts situation we will likely get to see Mckee for a few weeks if not the remainder of the season.

Should get to see Tanner with all our starters at the skill positions at least Smitty/Wicks/Geodart/ Barkley.

OL hopefully guys improve with playing time and experience. Lampkin going into his 2nd start, Kendall will be in his 3rd start(or majors 2nd start), Bell 3rd start. Also be huge if we can get the same 5 guys to play together for multiple games

Another positive note Tanner likely worked a ton with the current guys starting as one of the backup QB. Likely got plenty of reps with Pierce, Cooper, Lemon, majority of the OL

Tanner could really help this team if he plays well over the next couple weeks( or longer depending on Hurts situation) if he plays well could lead to a nice payday for him in FA and comp pick for Philly.

Or he could play well enough to draw interest in a trade this year.... or play well enough in your " trade Hurts" after this year scenario where we offer him a 2 year deal to be our starter.

A lot of good can come out of McKee playing well.

Plus the comedy gold for me, seeing how so many people have wanted to trade him for 3 years already.

And.. thinking about Gainwell... Tank's contract runs out this year.... a trade for Gainwell where they rework his deal to be able to keep him for next year and maybe beyond, might actually work.

I just don't think they would do it.....just for THIS year. And I get this idea was floated before Hurts blood clot was known. Even then, I just don't think they do it for just one year. But it would add value if they could get him for at least next year as well. If they redo the deal before the trade, etc.

Buddy I’ve been moved passed Gainwell it was a rumor he was on the block and obviously was linked to us as a possible trade candidate. The contract would have worked itself out with Howie that stuff rarely concerns me because if we want a guy they will make it work.

I’m now move onto do we look to trade guys especially the guys set to be FA we likely won’t bring back or older guys….Ojomo, Woolen, Nolan, Hunt, Dickerson, Saquon, Buan, Geodart etc.

I’d say Greenard but didn’t we just extend him doubt we can trade him right now.

Didn’t look at the contract just bringin up possible names and obviously not expecting any now or next week or so think closer to the trade deadline

Eagles Week 6 injury tracker: Full details on every playe...

The Philadelphia Eagles is starting to get some updates on key injuries for Week 6. Here is the full tracker with all the injuries to monitor.

Signing Joe Milton off the cowboys practice squad that’s an interesting signing still a young guy super talented arm

With the Milton signing assuming it’s save the day Payton will be the primary backup QB this week then.

Shouldn’t have to worry about an Andy Dalton return either which I think is a good thing test the young guys see what we have should be the goal of this season now if we win great if not at least we have an idea what we have moving forward and a high draft pick

Best case is we get guys back and can make a run at salvaging our season. Will be tough the next few games. We need to put this together, whatever/whoever we have on our bye week and hope it's enough. All we can do. We have a tough schedule and wins aren't going to be easy, but it's good work for our BU's. I hope Hurts will be ok. I don't hate the guy but they need to get to that clot. If it moves again it could be life threatening. Also more attention will be paid to Cole, so that should increase his learning speed. I would rather us all be healthy and play every other team healthy, but we'll just have to do what we can. Ertz should be better this week paired with Goedert and I know Tanner liked throwing to him. I also suspect Tanner to find Lemon. he has better field vision that Hurts ever did. That's a huge plus if we can give him a little time. Trial by fire here now will make or break guys, but at least we will separate the cream from the curd. Getting Bark back will be a huge deal. I don't recall our birds ever being this decimated. They wrote us off the SB year, maybe we can make them eat crow again this year. I can always dream

Yeah, that's what I said before

A good thing might be that he is more used to these guys 🤣 🤣

It's not like the NFCE is a powerhouse division. Pretty poor. Goal is to win it and have all our guys back even if we have to go with McKee. maybe even be better with him in. He's not afraid to let it fly. At least it should be more fun to watch. Mannion has the QB now that actually could WORK in his system. Let's hope

He is though, he worked more with the 2/3's than he did the 1's which are all hurt now. So these are the guys he knows sans Lemon

We are going to make Carolina's defense look so good this week 😥

Tanner McKee has perfect chance to make Eagles look silly...

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee takes over after Jalen Hurts' injury, but he can prove how silly the team's early-season decision was.

The above just dropped in my mail

I know that but I just don't see this going well I hope I'm wrong. I wish he had our top players to actually see what he could do.

He played with the backups in preseason that didn't look good

A potential Kenny Gainwell reunion has to be at the top o...

There is an opening for the Philadelphia Eagles to potentially call about a reunion with Kenny Gainwell, and it would make all the sense in the world.

What 93 called for. Probably more likely now that Ship is also out. I wasn't considering it,but now I have to

Defenses generally have the advantage in the preseason though since offenses try and keep things as basic and vanilla as possible

I hope the kid does great but with the backup line I'm scared for a pocket passer back there.

Yeah, as the guys come back it should make things better. All we can do is play who we have. I just hope they can put a few series together and help Fangio out by not wearing the D down to nothing

Quick timing passes that get the ball out of his hands fast can help. I’d like to think with Tanner not being a mobile guy he will be better at the quick release and timing routes.

For Hurts better or worse his mobility allowed for him to extend plays but that ability I think also hurt him with timing plays

Yeah defenses don't normally show much either. I bet he is blitzed all day long and make him make quick decisions that he's not used to doing. He is going to be under pressure all game long.
