We throw all kinds of screens and short passing plays with blocking setups that we rely on Goedert’s excellent YAC ability. So you gotta think outside of the box of taking over as an all around TE. Like two or three plays a game we use Goedert in ways that aren’t traditional TE roles. This Ainus kid can do those very well. Not sure how else to explain it. Definitely not calling this short kid TE2 or anything like that. But taking over that key portion of Goedert’s plays …that he can do.

Again that isn’t taking Geodart plays or replacing him Geodart primarily takes snaps as the inline TE….

Throwing a TE screen is completely different the throwing a screen to a slot WR…. Being effect YAC is fine but it isn’t replacing Geodart role as the TE

Kellen uses more motion than we're used to, sounds like Smith would fit right in, short crosses, slants

I’m sure there are plenty of YAC plays we can design that will maximize a WIDE RECEIVER. But that a far cry from replacing the inline TE that just so happens to be really good after the catch as well

Smith can take those to the house

Just have to utilize the middle of the field Now that Hurts improving in that area and the bigger part of it is designing plays to attack the middle which I’m sure Moore will do.
