The guy near single handedly keeping us in the game versus the Chiefs making one mistake isn’t the problem. It’s the 47 other members of the team and terrible coaching that was the problem. Not just blaming one defender…for missing one tackle. Not just blaming one defender for blowing one coverage. It was the whole D. Players and coaches. Record pace setting sack D …no sacks. Dominant rushing attack…couldn’t rush the ball. Well besides Hurts. The one player that actually stepped up to the moment. Played between than anybody else in that SB. Nobody else even questions this. Was just the obvious talking about for everybody…else. Our team shrunk in that SB. Vaunted such highly ranked D. Didn’t cover anything. Couldn’t even tackle for crap. RB  dominated all season…so bad Steichen had to just take them off the field been. P shanks almost the only time Hurts left it up to him needing to do his job.

AR delivered two TDs where we didn’t even cover the receiver..at all. Wide open! Same play. Twice! 14 gifted free points. But sure let’s not pony to that very obvious complete breakdowns as any reasoning for the loss. Put the blame on the one guy that performed the best that day over his one big mistake.

Oline is a unit working together. It always sounds great to point to accolades of individuals. But when you can’t open a whole to run the ball in the big game what does it matter? Couldn’t run the ball for crap against KC. Does future HoF jackets change any of that?

No the point No Mas attempts to make us that accolades mean each play they perform at a HoF level. Disregarding the team sport aspects. Disregarding how the Oline is a unit that has to work together as one. One finger that’s the best in the world can’t punch like a solid whole fist.

SHOW me the ring. We not only showed Hurts the money, we gave it to him. Now it's time to put a Lombardi in the trophy case,no more excuses. Top rate RB now,all top rate receivers, a top notch TE. Of course now you can blame a new O line, or whatever other excuses you want, but the fact remains the QB runs the team and gets paid far and away the most to accomplish that
