Cowboys drafted Tyler Smith to be their T. Looked terrible at T so they moved him to G. Looked pretty good there. Now they are moving him back to T out of need. I hope we show them exactly why that isn’t a good move.

Landon Dickerson everybody was convinced was drafted to be Kelce replacement at C. Dude is a stud G. Don’t mess with that. I don’t care so much about his versatility. Let him rock and roll at G. Works for me.

I can keep going and going with lists of players coaches screwed up on. I’m not one for sitting back just eating the manure being fed just because the team calls it Cheerios.

I don’t expect him to learn everything all in one offseason. Not everything even about the outside CB job. So clearly not ready to know the Slot CB job everything also. Just like I don’t believe Hurts will be going through progressions to his third and fourth reads so much week one this season. Much less be adapting the new scheme with his WR being on the same page with the tweaks. One step at a time. Then add to it. These guys don’t possess Bellicheat level knowledge of the game at such a young age.

Of course that allowed me to check out the rest of the draft and raise some money for charity…so probably a good call.

He’s  playing CB for us this year. Fangio loves Off Coverage concepts. A bunch for him to be taught there though still. He should rock and roll at it. Just keep adding to as he goes along. Will he be in Bump and Run and traveling to the Slot this season? Can’t say on all that. Not where my expectations lie honestly. (See what I did there?)

Is he going to be maxed out and career peaked week one of his career? No…definitely not any reasonable expectation.

We were a blip away from winning the SB in the best most obvious opportunity to win one I’ve ever Seen. So yeah one more talented player could have easily turned the tide. Heck I was all for trading a future pick and adding two difference making players to the 2022 squad. Was I expecting this two additions to play every position and be at their career peaks? No. Not what was needed even. Cover somebody..,anybody in the SB. Heck just be capable of double teaming with somebody to limit Kelce and we crush them. Wouldn’t have been close.

I look at Q and see everything you need to possess to be an absolute stud. But not blind to think he’s coming straight from college to the NFL not needing to adjust and adapt. He’s not coming from Toledo ready to shut down Ceedee week one. I just am looking for him to get to the point he can battle Ceedee. Will that even happen year one? I really can’t say that.

But see once Q can battle and give any hard time to Ceedee then the cowboys will move him inside. So then that next challenge occurs. It’s all steps. How fast any of these guys get there is unknown. First round pick…might take some time. Kelce year one as a sixth rounder was more ready to roll than most drafted way ahead of him.

A player that could have made a tackle frankly would have turned the tide.

Except when it was your reason to dislike any of Howie's moves..especially the Saints trade..because a rookie DB could have been the difference!

By the end of the year….much further along than week one. But never was because I expected a rookie to be at his career peak. Just a guy…that could cover somebody…tackle anybody

How about this...  instead of worrying about anything...let the coaches see what's up.  

OMG.. slow hips... you know what, if anyone doesn't do well in a spot...then they put them somewhere else.  Really not complicated.  Why are we concerned. 

In certainly not opposed to replacing both of our outside CBs if it turns out to be the best scenario. Let them all compete...see what works best for the group.  Injuries also change things. 

In a week it's May 5th...just have a Corona or a Margarita and relax.   

And yeah I have disliked Rosie’s philosophy of being so weak in areas like the DBs, RBs or LBs. That season the S room sucked ..was complaining about it…it was so bad even Rosie realized it so much he was even forced to trade for Ceedy Duce.

So the stud G doesn’t complete the OL???? Mailata, Dickerson, Lane just disappears if we add the G lol makes no sense.

obviously the G has to fit in and work well with the rest of the guys but a G would have still completed the OL lol
