April 29, 20241 yr Not even May…but this team has gotten so close…on paper…but getting close to real contending level team.

April 29, 20241 yr Maybe we just put Becton beside Mailata and Dickerson. Those three would be like a skyscraper falling on top of the D.

And Hurts wouldn’t be able to see over the entire left side…. Big area that needs improvement is attacking the middle of the field hard for a barely 6’2 QB to throw on OL guys that are are 6’6+

I think your point is a real concern with Becton. I’m sure you’ve considered the thought of him possibly playing RG. Him and Lane side by side is some serious beef coming at people. That would be both sides of the line just massive large beings having their way.

Ideally for a single play the benefit could be fine but we aren’t going to have an OL package like that for a single play
April 29, 20241 yr Jurgens the only peak hole on our Oline at 6’3”. I’d actually say Hurts is only 6’1”. That’s why they have a taller model as the prototypical QB. It’s a real limitation for him.

But we could use it for a more traditional Jumbo package.
April 29, 20241 yr It’s just insane the size these Oline guys are now. How big were the old Hogs Oline back in the day mauling people? Weren’t even close to the 6’8” 360 pounders.
April 29, 20241 yr Official website designation for our draftees is telling. Q listed as CB. DeJean listed as DB. McMahon listed as C/G. Hunt the only player on the roster listed as OLB

But when you can’t open a whole to run the ball in the big game what does it matter? Couldn’t run the ball for crap against KC. Does future HoF jackets change any of that? Again... very simple concept that you are making complicated. You have a solid 4....you get the 5th guy and now there isn't an individual weakness on your OL. Which means ...the defense can't just attack one guy.
April 30, 20241 yr The Philadelphia Eagles cut the following four players on Monday, according to the NFL’s official transaction report: DT Noah Elliss WR/TE Griffin Hebert CB Tiawan Mullen OL Lecitus Smith

Yep it’s like how we saw the Cowboys attack Steen with stunts getting Parsons on him.

Lecitus was a legit backup option. Noah I can’t understand him being cut. Did he show up out of shape or something on these levels? He was a very key piece of depth for us. A legit backup Nose option. Heck was thinking could challenge to really get playing time. Noah really shocks me.
