That just is a starting point. He mentioned how he’ll adapt and grow from there.

Siri strongest trait and area has always been WR. So really be interesting to see how much he takes a hands on approach with Ainais Smith. Maybe get Shipley involved in slot work…my thinking revolving around motion concepts in particular. That’s the big boost Siri can give us going forward really. Add in Ngata or the FL St Wilson as developing bonuses on the optimistic side.

Really thought Siri was going to be able to unlock Quez with his athletic tools. Seemed like his issues were coachable. Siri talked the talk backing Quez always…but he seemed to go backwards instead of develop.

Kind of weird to have moved on from OZ and Stoll. These guys have been logging major amounts of snaps in our O. Two primarily blockers at skill receiving positions. Seems like this area we all here kind of seeing close to eye to eye on. A threat as a receiving target will be much more beneficial.

A blocking TE I’m fine with. Short yardage and goaline just makes sense. But shouldn’t be a player on the field such amounts. Having that TE2 and the third WR option being a blocker just really left the O limited. This is a challenge for any OC…not just something to do with Johnson being a first time playcaller and running and O. I know it’s easy to point to such high level quality individuals on O and expect everything to be perfect. But having that second TE even at Uzmoh level changes things. Having a third and more WR options changes things. We don’t need world busting stuff from these guys. Just need guys that do their job. A job made so much easier with AJ and DeVonta opening things up.

FL likes to expect 32 points from the O. But once you look in detail at what that consistent high level of production takes….you realize both top WR can go for 100 yards and still isn’t enough.

Just looking for Moore to put the pieces together. Last season straight out of TC our team was clearly behind. But most importantly lacked continuity. The whole season our team was individuals performing. That just isn’t going to cut it. We need the RB complimenting the TE game. One setting up and opening up the other.

Need formations and looks to be multiple. Gotta be capable of countering the run, TE, WR …long and short all from the same presnap looks. Just never was any conflict created for our opponents. They weren’t reading anything. Just create that hesitation to be just one step behind reacting. Use some motion to make defenders actually think and react on the fly.

Hurts Haters just rail against Hurts about his reading D. Every other pro QB gets the benefit of presnap motions to force the D to show their hand a bit more. Plus motion creates space for a WR. We were so far below the rest of the league using motion last season.

Bad enough not using motion to our advantage. But anybody who even believes our QB1 is having problems reading a D should easily be complaining about our coaches lack of motion to assist him. You know…if reading the D is the real issue occurring. Then any coach should help out and give him a motion guy to more clearly see what the D is up to.

The D always looking to disguise what they are up to. But motion can force their hand. Somebody has to actually move to have any chance to cover anything opposite side of the field.

Playcaller has to get the plays in fast too. QB can’t come to the line of scrimmage under duress of quickly snapping and running the play. Give him a few seconds to analyze and read the D.

An 18 game schedule makes for a 19 week season.

I agree with Ham. Should be 2 Bye weeks. The players will need it for rehab to make the duration of the season. What's next, why not a 40 week season and 12 week off season lol

Used to play 16 weeks without a bye week...dare I say the golden age...1978 to 1990.

Went to a bye week...then even 2 byes... I hated the 2 byes.   Get in a rhythm and keep going. One bye is enough.

But 16 games is enough... fits perfectly with two games within the conference being the non common games for division opponents.

1st place team place 3 games vs other 1st place teams...idk... might be reason Dallas was one game better last year?  Do we think they beat KC?

With 18 games now...do we just play 2 AFC divisions?  2 NFC divisions?    Do we play 4 games vs other opponents who finished in the same 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th in their divisions?

Doing the schedule correctly is more important to me than having 2 byes.

Eliminate Thursday games, that would help more than an extra bye.

Moore did a pretty good job deflecting the media trying to figure out and break everything he’s up to down. They want to know how Siri and his boundaries are set and what terminology we he will go with. Good answer that covered everything and said absolutely nothing. He wants to keep the good while implementing his own…which means he has to also create new terms. Need the vocabulary to explain things to all position groups across all the playbook to keep things at its simplest and easiest to digest for everybody.

To simplify...he said it's not complicated.  They do this every year.  The language is irrelevant as long as everyone is on the same page....." football is football....plays are plays"

Sometimes the player just doesn't have it.

Actually seems common sense in moving on from both, due to wanting better play from those positions.

Or his turnovers etc.

That's an issue we haven't had since Reid.

Typical new coach speak, nothing new here. Obviously new coaches are hired because the team wants change

SO if WR is Siri's high point and he couldn't fix Quez, then it's not really a high point then? The fact Howie gives him top notch WR's makes him look good?

What does that have to do with TD'S??? If you get 500 yards a game and only score 9 points the yardage doesn't matter

Any coach that gives out information the media can use at this point, should be fired immediately

I'm just focused on his passing game.... seeing the field and making the throws.
