May 24, 20241 yr Seen things that Caleb Williams was absolutely horrible in 7 on 7 drills for the bears…. Only practice and early but still not a great look for the #1 pick to be struggling in 7s

Great having issues completely passing throwing tons of ints lot of talks of him holding the ball way to long is concerning for #1 guy in 7s drill…. Not to mention they are saying most of his completions were throws to the flat real concerning stuff. If he was that slinger as you say would expect there to be plenty of those wow plays mixed in which didn’t sound like
May 24, 20241 yr Good sign that Campbell and Hurts seem to have a nice early connection in OTAs hope it translates to the actual season.

It took me some time to break away. Still chat with a few who say "not the same after you left". So I can understand loving what you did and the separation from it. Your entire routine changes and it takes some getting used to just like how you BEGAN working. Over time,it's easier to let it go. But I was asked to be a "consultant" for while so I was kind of eased out slower than usual,so just thinking Kelce could do that also. He could be an excellent Oline scout for us,he knows what to look for. Still be part of the "team" close to the sport you love and not a huge stress on the fam, if he chose to do it I would be happy to have him. If not,no harm done, but I would put a bug in his ear "If you ever want to....." Sure... I think he will be great at his current football job though. Less time to invest and he gets to do way more fun stuff while being around a much larger portion of the game. Again...one of the main points he made ....his own words... to be around the facility keeps me informed and will help with my job with ESPN...which is talking about the current NFL. He still works in football.

We paid Boston Scott just under 2m to be our backup find it hard to image us paying much more then that for a backup RB. Then even with the out we would have to eat dead money which you loath or pay Sanders like 8m
May 24, 20241 yr Just doesn’t sound like a logical move to trade for Sanders if he gets cut and we can get him for around 2m sure but otherwise meh

Gains Ship and the other kid would be ok in rotational RBBC. Would just need to alter the playbook a bit
