I recall lot of the complaints Mcnabb got back in the day for not having WRs…. Then I’m watching Mahomes throw to nobody’s all year and still winning it all….

Hell we complain about Hurts not having a #3 WR lol KC didn’t have a WR 1-2 or 3 lmao

Let's be honest....Hurts is a runner.  Everything that stands out about him has to do with his running.    4 TDs in the SB...3 of them rushing.    First QB to do this....always involves running.

He was drafted...because of his running.  He got paid...because if his running.

Without the stud WRs... the defense can take away ..... his running.

We need to give the ball to our RBs..   because it avoids having to rely on his passing.

Get a stacked D,  run the ball, get better receiving weapons, have the perfect play calls...  that's always going to be the theme,  why....Because we aren't going to win with the QBs passing ability.

Mahomes escapes on a broken play, they need to cover 70yards down field.  Hurts escapes, they know he is limited with his arm.    Not a difficult concept.

Hurts changes nothing for us... still need to build perfection around him and have the perfect play calling.  He doesn't make up for anything.

I mean....we can't even false start on 3rd and 1... that causes him to give away 7 points without being touched.

Guy carried a team full of talented experienced players. It isn’t good enough he would convert those short yardage at such a high percentage ….that nobody has ever done as well as.

Whole side of the ball he doesn’t play on getting paid too. Big money guys at that. All those guys did nothing all game. Couldn’t even just get that one stop at the end to get the ball back to Hurts. He takes care of business without that pass interference penalty.

Nobody else required to do their jobs correctly you seem to be preaching. Invest endlessly in the Oline. But they can’t get any run game going other than Hurts creating on his own.

Wouldn’t have been anywhere near within 7 points if not for that special player trying to will is to victory against all odds.

Hurts made that one mistake. He did. But yeah he shouldn’t have been put in any of that position. QB1 wasn’t playing some game manager at QB. Wasn’t just distributing the ball to playmakers and relying on the D to keep things close.

First half of this past SB neither big Niners or Chiefs accomplished much of anything. We face anything like that Hurts easily carries us to victory.

But nope. The pressure was on to score every drive.

Why does Seumalo get such a pass on the actual mistakes? No reason Hurts should have been in 3rd and long to begin with. Seu False Starts to take away Hurts owning the short yardage first down conversion. How is that all on Hurts?

But then the Oline forces the long Third down situation by a dumb penalty. But then just doesn’t block the playmaking LB the very next play. Without two straight complete failures at Oline doing their job none of all that fumble for a TD could have happened. If any RB had produced anything then there likely would have been a RB in the backfield to help block. Or at least recover the fumble. Or at least slow down Bolton.

That Bolton fumble recovery for a TD was a play that only could have been setup to be possible by so many others on our team failing first.

Hurts gotta hold on to the ball. But Oline can’t leave unblocked obvious rushers to come right up the middle either. No way Bolton can scoop and score if he was anything but untouched coming through.

Seumalo gets any touch to slow Bolton, like is his job he’s paid to do. How does Bolton scoop and score?

Not saying Oline needed to pancake the LB. Just do anything close to their job. Didn’t account for the blitzer that wasn’t even disguising he was at the line.

What kind of negativity drives any fan to watch Hurts have the most incredible performance in the biggest game….yet only focus on his one bad play?

No pressure or sacks from all our investment in the Dline.

No coverage on really anybody from our D.

D didn’t stop the run even

P shanks and gives up a score

We just get the ball back at the end and Hurts would have scored again. Scoring in the thirties with the Oline not helping much. A dominant rushing team and we couldn’t run at all.

Hurts was so ready for the big game!

To hold the kid to such a high standard of griping and harping over his one mistake in an otherwise overwhelming incredible performance is so weak.

We owed even dreaming about being in the game to have any chance in the first place to Hurts. Without his other worldly performance that day it’s just a clear blowout.
