Oh, I have no interest in seeing Mailata run and the defense taking shots at his knees to bring him down... it's not Rugby where they only tackle high.

I'm talking about the power blocking with Mailata or Lane staying on the perimeter after mixing in the big guy as a 6th OL.   Maybe a pass play near the goal line or something...but no way I want to put a target on Mailata...they absolutely will tackle him low and he never has had that in his life before to know what that's like.

I'm sure he has learned that by now LOL

Tackle elgible/TE

Philly Special-BU QB,pitched by an undrafted RB to a 3rd string TE and we have more talent now

He talked about retiring for 2 seasons. At any rate, next draft would be time to find a young gun

Sure...next one or the one after.  I would assume that's automatic with the way our front office works... but you never know if Moore gives Fangio the first choice after he takes over as coach next year.

Yes....both those guys would be nice targets for a short pass.

He learned what it's like having guys tackle you at the legs?   How would he experience that?  He blocks???

I think it will be Dom as HC

I would call tackle eligible a few times, and do nothing with it, then after teams ignore it awhile we strike

That was it.... they extended with new money where the reality is to add the 2026 new money.  Basically instead of playing through 2025.. the idea is he plays through 2026.   I believe the 2027 year was just the way to spread out the cap hit.

That 2 million when the cap is going to be over 300 mil is going to annoy Ham... lol

Then Dom for sure goes OL!

I'm sure DE's have tried to get him down by the legs now come one. He;s not a rookie

Correct... just use that beast front to open holes.  Then you could mix in a pass later in the season.

He doesn't have the ball why would guys be looking to bring him down?

Yeah, agreed. We could let him out after 2026 if we wanted to. We'll find that out later but glad we got him done

I wonder if Becton can catch. How do you call a Guard eligible? LOL

They wouldn't be ready for him to get the ball and run with it. From the 2 nobody is going to react in time to leg tackle him

All players get leg tackled at some point especially a DT

I remember reading something when he signed that it was the plan to play out the additional year, that's why they gave it to him.

I agree 26 is the target year,so getting a young gun in the next draft would be nice for me. like we do with other linemen, let them learn from the best before they take over. Just saying he could ask to retire after 2025. IDK what he will feel like by then
