But might have to come off a decent one…depending on which guy we target to go after. It especially makes sense if it’s for a player that’s more than just a one year rental. What is future " indebtedness " it's players that we locked up for the future " but No Mas we have future cap hits for these players" no kidding 🤦🤦🤦 NFL network last night... talking about 3 players ...getting $130 mil per year ( those are players NOT on the books) so there is no indebtedness. The 19 year old without any money or credit card...has no " indebtedness ".. the parents who have a $1mil mortgage on their $4 mil house... are showing " indebtedness " Which one is in a better financial situation?

Not really... the pass rushers make the most out of the one trick ponies on defense... and you lock in the young guy for 3 years... team control... no guarantees on year 3... easily restructure.. or bye bye Iike Reddick.

July 26, 20242 yr 18 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Obviously he should be worth quite a bit if his down season is still more than a top season of a guy that can’t even play half the downs for what like 17 mil a season. If Huff has earned 17…Reddick is easily worth 30. Obviously... not what the league thinks. The ENTIRE LEAGUE who had the opportunity to get him.

Obviously the businessmen of the NFL know what's up.
July 26, 20242 yr 34 people have an opinion. 1 guy who isn't a sheep... very proud of that. Of the other 33 people...32 of them make decisions for NFL teams. Hey...but one guy must be right...because he isn't a sheep! Congrats

In one breath you say a pass rusher that isn’t as good that can rotate in or play the majority of downs is worth so much…but then the proven pass rusher that can play the majority of downs isn’t worth anything. Which is it?

Not too mention actually playing run and pass instead of just always pinning your ears back going QB hunting. I’m not seeing the case you’re trying to make.

Hey...but one guy must be right...because he isn't a sheep! Congrats 32 teams passed on our best C ever how many times in the draft? How many times did these 32 teams pass on Brady? Just like I said how did we get Reddick in the first place?

Which is it? The situation was he signed a nice 3 year contract right where he was worth. He will be paid what he is worth the next contract too.

In the draft now.... lol That's the same as saying here is a price for a guy who has been in the league as long as Reddick and everyone passing???? Lol

July 26, 20242 yr Is there any way to show ego....than to think you know the value of a player more than the entire NFL? I mean... you actually think none of the GMs know the " stats" they haven't watched film for a guy who has played in the league as long as Reddick ? There is no guess now...not a college prospect.... seasoned vet to where they all made educated decisions.

There is no guess now...not a college prospect.... seasoned vet to where they all made educated decisions. Happens all the time. That’s how we signed him for what we did in the first place. In fact after his high draft status you could say that’s pretty much been the story of his career. Teams don’t seem to want to pony up the large dough for him being undersized. Seems to me likes he’s proved the 32 teams wrong every season.

Being fresh with zero responbility to do anything but pass rush is an advantage. Give a pass rusher Sauce Gardner and a top D coverage behind him and really see what happens. In fact…I haven’t heard a single person state they thought Reddick wouldn’t get double digit sacks this season. Not one! A bit different than the 31st best coverage guys behind you
July 26, 20242 yr Let’s just see what this year’s team can do. TC just started. At least get a peak at which players over and underperforming going into this season. Think we’ve already kind of hashed out some weak areas and depth concerns. Get a better feel once we can see a bit more from them. At least get some more rumors from media practice available people. I hate to bring it up…but almost always some injuries. So reality will force us to adapt and most likely make a move based on whatever happens to our players before the season starts hear.
July 26, 20242 yr We are installing new schemes on both sides of the ball. Let these coaches get a look at what they have to work with. Not on paper finally for them to judge. Some real weakness and holes will be identified. Then can go after getting what’s really really needed.

July 26, 20242 yr A real interesting potential trade candidate is Titans WR Burks. The guy they ended up drafting after AJ forced his way out to us.
July 26, 20242 yr A real interesting guy that could possibly be traded for is TJ Slayton. Packers are supposedly moving to a 4-3 from a 3-4. So they might be interested in moving their Nose. A position we clearly could use. This would make a ton of sense.
