I don't really think it's a big deal... he wil be back in 3 weeks...on the field. Still there for all the practices to see what's going on.

He's not lying around he will be watching film and working out his body what can be worked on, he had the same injury and was supposed to be ready for camp,so another 3 week set back for the same thing

It's amazing....in the spring when they installed the offense for the first time.  Supposedly not good.... then 7 weeks later they look good in camp... lol

I mean, they don't have any other job than to play football.  Why so difficult for all these people who think it takes3 years to learn the rocket science of football.     OMG an put pattern... so complicated when it's a 5 , 7, 10 or 12 yard out...lol

7 weeks, 8 hours a day...5days a week...280 hours they could have been working on learning the offense.   You would think common sense people would realize adults should grasp these concepts by game 1?   Still another 6 weeks to go.

So Joe,your opinion. Lane Johnson through the 2025 season? Will he stick around for the 2025 season?

LOL well there are a few new plays I'm sure after the rather lackluster guys we have had,then the coach usually has new terminology,so you have to unlearn a few things and re-learn the terms. Then everyone has to be on that new page of terminology or once you break the huddle you get mistakes. So they should all have this down shortly. As the article says Moore is having after practice meetings to address the mistakes and clarify his terminology to get everyone aligned. Seems to me that is progressing rapidly

I believe he signed an extension prior to last year that takes him through 2026 season... at the time he was already signed through 2025.    So my assumption is he plays 3 more seasons if all works out.  I would assume minimum 2 more.

As long as they don't get side jobs, I heard AJ needed to start a landscaping business for extra cash.

Well he was quitting annually for awhile(self doubt then???) And the cap hit drops off after 2025,so there is a chance he retires after 2025. His call,but we need to start looking in the draft at RT and hope RG gets locked in soon

Becton seems like a man possessed. Taking reps at LT and LG with Dickerson out. He should be the BU for Mailiata and Dickerson unless they let him try to take the RG spot. Still things to get settled. I hope he plays well enough to at least stick around here as a BU

Not last year,but I guess he was having some mental issues. You don't remember him saying "this is my last year" a few years ago? I do and then he said it again the following year. This was prior to the new contract

I'm not really worried about anything past 2024 for now.   Good chance next year and the year after that our 1st round pick will be one from each line.   Per usual,so all good there.  For now... I'm looking forward to enjoying the season as a fan... not worried about playing GM yet...that will start after the season for me.

I'm thinking they use him in short yardage....can move Lane or Mailata as an eligible player.

I would really enjoy that play despite when you make fun of me LOL. it would be a  "Philly Special" we save for a close playoff game. I think Mailata trucking people for a TD would put a smile on his face

Oh, I have no interest in seeing Mailata run and the defense taking shots at his knees to bring him down... it's not Rugby where they only tackle high.   

I'm talking about the power blocking with Mailata or Lane staying on the perimeter after mixing in the big guy as a 6th OL.   Maybe a pass play near the goal line or something...but no way I want to put a target on Mailata...they absolutely will tackle him low and he never has had that in his life before to know what that's like.
