As for losing his job image its possible but iM not basing it off #3 beating up 3s and backups and Pickett facing starters. They didn’t have some Secondary starters in. They just traded their best edge player in Judon. Best DT Barmore is out with blood clots. But they did have some starters in.

Patrick Johnson, Siri described as being relentless this camp. Real strong list of of hard to cut pieces at the backend of the roster.

Alot of teams will be snapping up our cuts at least for their PS's AJ, Smitty, Covey and Wilson seem like the Wr locks. Ainias Smith needs to really kick things into gear or he should be stashed on IR to begin the season. Between John Ross and Paris Campbell for a roster spot. The other should go on the PS with Ngata. Really just need to make the roster selection much easier by adding a quality WR worth that last roster spot.
August 16, 20242 yr Oline is Mailata, Dickerson, Jurgens, Becton and Lane. Backup Fred Johnson Siri just singled out as making a huge leap into this year at T. So he’s making it. Kinnard and Steen…Keegan. Gives us 9 Oline. Hennessy hasn’t looked worthy. Rookie C Dylan should be PS. Toth perennial PS. Sharping didn’t look good.

August 16, 20242 yr Lee Nichols, Kendall Milton and Tyrion Davis-Price are locked in a pretty competitive battle at RB. That’s if we even keep a fourth RB. Of all the seasons we’ve kept Sermon and crap around at RB ..we actually have real quality competing to earn a legit spot this year. But then again can we keep two of these guys on the PS? If so…could just run with three RBs on the 53 then,
August 16, 20242 yr That two point conversion play by Moore felt like an early taste to his O. Having the WR motion and come through the other WR picking. Enough space to convert. Just quality X and O actual O scheming the guy open for two points. Refreshing

August 17, 20242 yr TE CJ Uzmoh has to be one of my biggest disappointments. Seen nothing from him this PS. Does he even make the team?
August 17, 20242 yr Tyler Steen went to the medical tent then was carted off to the locker room for X-rays.
August 17, 20242 yr Mekhi Becton didn’t even suit up for the game. He already won the starting RG spot. I was figuring he would…but it’s a lock now.
August 17, 20242 yr Author 5 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Doesn’t seem like the situation. Siri made sure to shut down chatter with clarifying Pickett is number two and McKee number three. Probably part of what’s agreed upon with Pickett for him being trade to us. Not exactly sure other than some insiders seem to be real sure it’s not even up for debate what the fans think about McKee earning the backup role….Pickett is the backup has been written in ink is the word. He didn't "shut down" squat. Pickett will be the 2 until Howie tells him otherwise. That has zero to do with the fanbase, writers and even my cowgirl friend, seeing what we all see and that is Pickett STINKS. Lord I hope we don't write that crap into contracts He wasn't signed to replace Hurts so ........ there is no guarantee he will be the 2. If that's in his contract Howie needs to quit immediately. You play your best players. If Siri and Moore both go into Howies office and tell him Pickett sucks he better listen(to Moore at least)

August 17, 20242 yr 1 hour ago, GreenbleedinNC said: He's worse than Shew, who Ham bashed endlessly LOL I just didn’t agree with your opinion wanting to bench Hurts for Shew. But didn’t bash Shew. Pointed out how we couldn’t win a game without Hurts…if that’s the bashing you’re talking about? it was just fact.
August 17, 20242 yr 1 hour ago, GreenbleedinNC said: He's worse than Shew, who Ham bashed endlessly LOL Seems like it’s a pretty universal opinion of what we’re all seeing is McKee looks better than Pickett. Yet Siri stated loud and clear Pickett is number two and McKee is three. Coach said it…not me about our QB depth chart for 2024.

To me ….that’s not a bash.

If Siri and Moore both go into Howies office and tell him Pickett sucks he better listen(to Moore at least) After OTAs you stated Pickett was better passer than Hurts and was going to make a run at the starting job. Later you posted links that some other Hurts haters wrote about the supposed competition Pickett was giving for the QB1 job. All after the bad buzz of Hurts not looking phenomenal at OTAs.
August 17, 20242 yr Spuds, the company mouth piece, even just was forced to write an article proclaims Pickett second string….while applauding the whole QB room as the cover story.
August 17, 20242 yr And this is how it stands. Indisputably: Pickett is the No. 2 and a very capable one at that. He played in 25 games with 24 starts after Pittsburgh made him the 20th overall draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and he's been impressive. In fact, coming out of the spring Organized Team Activities, media observers raved about Pickett and wondered, out loud, if he would challenge for playing time this season. He was that impressive. According to Spuds.
