Bark new here also,it's all about fit and the O lines. Jacobs is a fine RB. CJG was a helpful addition,Blank playing well. We need to stuff the WR's. We can't play 12 yards off them, they will kill us. Watson needs to be blanketed

CGJ already injured. Always gets injured. He’s a ballhawk …but a bad tackler. The guys angle of pursuit is just terrible. Let’s not forget how he ripped his insides just trying to tackle Watson two seasons ago.

I question our run D. The Pack and Jacobs are very likely going to expose us there. Then once we need to adjust bringing more men in to stop the run…Love will dice us up. Not like he shouldn’t be very effective passing without our defenders hesitating in run support.

Musgrave is solid, not as good as Goedert, that is 1 facet we can exploit

Do you see their TE as being capable of exposing a below average D at TE pass coverage? Which honestly calling our TE pass coverage below average the way things are looking would be optimistic.

Yeah he is good enough to do that

What about your boy? Can he slice and dice and have a shootout with Love? He's going to have to do it

Matchup of the game I’m seeing as Jaire Alexander versus Smitty. The Slim Reaper has been having a blockbuster TC. Think you could make the argument this is the toughest CB matchup for him throughout the league.

They can and should focus Alexander on DeVonta…so you know what that means for AJ…that’s right…doubled…. Or at least bracketed.

They can't DT both DS and AJ. Their D is good but they aren't magicians and Hurts needs to locate the open man and get the ball out. If his decision making isn't better than last year it will be a long game

I could agree with that

That leaves Goedert basically freed up and or a RB out of the backfield

He's a rook making rook mistakes. he is learning. Better doing this in pre and learning before hitting the big leagues

My point is this is occurring because of PS. Because these guys aren’t allowed to finish and hit our QB or tackle to the ground. They need to just be able to flip whatever switch to turn that part on. Play actual football. Think for Q,Nolan and Trot they each PS game two got ideal lessons on being there with an opportunity to make a play…isn’t finishing making a play

This is where we find out if Hurts in camp is as good in a game LOL

Yes it's a question. Is he good enough? We can't have sketchy play vs the Pack, they will find and exploit weakness

You’re talking about our LBs remember. That’s a foregone conclusion we will have sketchy LB play. I’m pointing out the question is more just is Trot more sketchy than the others? Frankly…none of them can cover. It’s a weakness I surely would be gameplanning if I was our opponent OC(this case HC).

That's not a switch you throw. I'm sure they see them in camp. Our tackling last year was atrocious. Can't be worse under Fangio

LB play has always been sketchy here. I think what we have is as good as anything else we have had in a few years. I think we have to out offense GB not play conservative. Hurts needs to complete runs not fall down like a little girl or run OOB after 2 yards

I don't care what he does after the game why do you?

I’m pointing out how Becton has been struggling IN practice throwing up. If your game plan is the guy that keeps heaving because he can’t keep up in practice is: he’s going to wear out our opponents instead? Not a real solid plan. I get what your saying…but there is very much this side also.

I actually want to see more pressure from the front 4,takes some heat off the LB's. Love needs to be harassed OFTEN

So rotate him and Steen. They both seem about even at RG

They played 80 snaps at the joint practice? That doesn't get anyone in football shape?

I don’t know who played 89 plays in joint practice. But it was made clear he used that as reason they couldn’t play any snaps in the PS game 2. So not exactly any statement giving confidence of football endurance preparedness.

Why not, just because you didn't see it? Siri basically wore them all out working.he said they were "tired" so yeah they got a good workout in

These little injury bugs on the rooks bother me,losing valuable learning time. It was nice to see ASmith play. IDK what the other updates are. Paris will start in the slot.

We still have time to go yet. I doubt we put anyone on the field who is fat, slow and weak LOL

You played. You know how it is. Is anybody as ready that first game to go the distance in real football shape? No. Just a matter of does it effect us more than them. I don’t know what the temperature will be either.

With ASmith,Ross and Wilson what do you do with Covey?

I think our run D is suspect

We will be as ready as they are. I said before week 1 is a crapshoot, but we need to settle in and play our game
