Lol....alright dude.... I fall for the bait every time.  You never answer a direct question.

All good bro.... you do you.

Siri sucks.... next week I'll bring something up.... that other coaches do differently... offer no opinion... but just something to think about.

Enjoy your journey.

That’s all I said was it’s something to think about. Probably worth discussing. But is there a universal correct answer for every team every year? I don’t think so.

DO YOU.....want..... Hurts to play

I asked 5 times....do you want Hurts to play a series or not....still waiting.

I think I would have played Hurts specifically some that first PS game. But I wasn’t there to judge field conditions. It obviously had rained.

I really don’t know is the only true answer though. I haven’t seen much of him under real live game looking practice action. We aren’t allowed footage of the real parts of these practices.

Is one joint practice against what people think is the worst team all we need? Against a first time HC? Trying to think if our team has really had a lighter go of things going into week one. Excluding the COVID season….. believing this is probably the lightest least physical TC/PS our Eagles have ever had.

Has Hurts taken a hit or been tackled…at all? How much have our skill guys? I do believe being in game shape is very real. Don’t think we are today.

"To go out there and score in one play and take the ball away in one play on defense," LaFleur said before the game. "You want them to go out there and compete, execute, have a clean operation and then get them out."
This was the quote I saw from LaFleur…our week one opponent. Again just something to think on…

I think our Oline will make some mistakes against GB. Stout is the Man. But are these guys ready for everything going to come there way? Stunts, blitzes, shifting…just the different athletes? RB and TE need to be in sync with their evolving assignments as well blocking.

Are all the receivers ready to read all the varying D playcalls according to our O playcall corresponding adjustments?

Packers running a different D than us this season. So just practicing against Fangio’s scheme isn’t what they’ll be facing. Plus don’t have a real nice blueprint on their D expectations. Gotta be ready for everything….more than usual.

See...I didn't think our team finished well last season.    Don't think camp really mattered in that.

I saw our team not look crisp and organized from the get go. It was a bunch of talented individuals playing individually way too much.

WR Robert Woods for the Texans maybe a trade candidate. A slight buzz maybe Johan Dotson from the Commanders.

One series August 9th...in a preseason game without the defense really scheming.....4 weeks before the season starts?

2016 Wentz injured in preseason... didn't really play,  Bradford traded and Wentz starts with no practice...3-0

2017...Foles gets injured during camp and isn't ready to play as the #2 until October.... he wins the Superbowl

2022... 8-0

2023 - 5-0

4 examples in the last few years where no preseason action for the QB and the starts or finishes were fine.

So to me.... one series ...4 weeks before the regular season...has zero impact.   Nothing any other team does is going to change my mind on this.

Preseason.... you win if you don't get any real player injured.   The season starts September 6th in Brazil.  You don't win a SB by how good you look in September.   Just win early and start peaking down the stretch.

I've presented real situations to back my opinion.   To argue the opposite...you gotta give me more than ...." well other coaches are doing it"

Show me their starts or their finishes and tell me how you think one series 4 weeks before the season starts has the impact.

Otherwise to me it just seems " hey let me bring up something other teams are doing to generate the idea of we need to get rid of the coach. " that's lame!

Playing in preseason would be nice but it doesn't justify losing a vital player in a meaningless game.

I'd rather lose the first game if that is what it takes

That’s a pretty interesting thought. Against Green Bay. Several people are calling an NFC contender this season. So a loss week one could factor heavily into playoff seeding. Could be the difference in the 2 seed versus the 3 seed if you are of mind like No Mas and FL thinking we are above a 10 win team. That one game could mean traveling to Green Bay for the winter playoff game instead of at home.

So if we start 1-4 before the bye should we fire the HC?

Yes... he won that SB in February... not August

Would you have put the #3 in instead?

So many things you picked up from Andy Reid press conferences in 14 years?  Give me an example...14 years ...you must have one?

They won the SB because Andy go to do state farm commercials. Evreyone knows that
