That’s your prediction: Parris will start as third WR.

Yeah. IDK the extent of all the WR injuries. I didn't look yet. Could be him and another on a rotation

Covey might be WR3. Gotta believe they should get Covey the ball on two YAC Creation plays at least.

How many WR's will we roster? We have 2 starters and what 7 others?

Ngata needs to stay because there is no one else to BU him(AJ) up. Wilson could I suppose but he is a rook and injured

https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/defense/rushing/2023/reg/all Our run D was a little better than theirs last year

Because our Pass D was next to last. Hard to throw for a gazillion yards on us…PLUS run all over us at the same time. But both teams have new defenses this season. Not sure how much those stats really even mean. Very little in my book.

Paris,Ross,ASmith,Wilson,Ngata,Covey. Pick 4

Moore is giving Hurts more freedom to audible. Hurts is a threat on a broken play. They will need to spy Hurts or he will hurt them with his legs

That looks like our clear advantage. Also thinking RB receptions. I know you aren’t really so much of fan of it…but we need to control the ball and the clock. Our O being able to churn away first downs keeps Love off the field and not getting in a groove.

Secondary can't be 31st again (or 3o or whatever),Need to move into the 20's

Then Goedert will be open as I said before

They drafted Edgerrin Cooper at LB and Bullard at S. So clearly we need Goedert to win his matchup.

Yeah and take deep shots. Keep away from Love. I'm sure they want to grind the same with Jacobs and take their deep shots(which Love is better at),so should be very similar game plans for both clubs

Who are your 4? This last pre could be make or break for someone

Like to see a WR in the backfield on a few plays, like how KC used Hill

Nope. I’m not with you on that thought. What we have is RB depth. Don’t have enough WR even to start. More like the opposite of might have to lean on putting a RB out at WR. In fact I bet Saquan lines up out wide at least once…at least.

Yeah,we need to see the slot guy perform now. I think that is crucial vs GB

See whole pickup. But Moore looks very ready to move our top two WRs inside some here. Be nice if when he does we have an actual threat as that third WR.

Tyreek Hill used to kill on that play. Aiyuk does it too in SF. We need varying looks not the same vanilla plays

He needs to play the game at the NFL level, not the JV level

You think way overboard now. I just was talking about how much risk Hurts needs to balance. He needs to protect himself and get down …or out of bounds. But if he doesn’t gash the Pack with his legs don’t think it goes our way.

That would be Paris

The guy that hadn’t been doing squat because of his groin injury? The guy that hasn’t done much in the league anyway? That guy?

23 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said:

We will see if he can play like he has in camp. Hurts needs to stand in there some not just give up after 1 read

It isn’t camp. Guys will be looking to actually hit and threaten him now. Plus they are playing a 4-3 different D than he’s faced in practice from Fangio. Week one isn’t at the Novacare with kid gloves on.

You can get hurt on any play, you can't gauge it or count the plays, you have to perform now because you are highly paid to do it

Moore has given hurts more freedom to audible. He needs to read the defense

Think Hurts has always had freedom to audible. Better audible options would be key. But the whole time here I’ve been staring using motion is what Os do to help get a read on the D. League lowest usage of motion last season….by a mile. Now we’ll motion a guy and give the QB a much better look to get his read. Should be a massive difference.

Who else do we have that's ready to roll???

Ross concussion. Wilson concussion. Parris groin. Ainias stone hands. Covey tiny. Would think we should have enough time for them to clear up these injuries. Doesn’t make any of them good options still though unfortunately.

Ainais caught the winning 2 pt. He's not dropping things now. last game he was 1/1 for 7 no drops,so how can you call him stone hands? LOL

Think that’s an easy assumption I’m with you on. But why I’m feeling our susceptible run D will be more exposed now.
