August 17, 20242 yr I do believe in getting in football conditioning. Building up some of these body callusing to hits. Actually practicing tackling instead of just practicing pulling up and not tackling. Barely do much tackling to the ground in practice anymore. Not supposed to practice even getting near the QB. Which is a whole unique situation in live action of its own. You gotta hit these QBs so perfectly correct now.

Because they want every second they invest into their team to mean something. Nobody thinks the Eagles or Chiefs ...or Eagles or Patriots Superbowl results would have been different if starters from either team played or didn't play a few snaps in preseason.

Evidently many do believe it matters. All these teams wouldn’t do it if they didn’t think it mattered. That’s an easy statement to disprove.

You believe teams are less sloppy going into the season if they don’t play any PS games with their starters? My eyes tell me the start to the regular season has become sloppier and sloppier as less and less PS is played and less contact practicing occurs. First couple of weeks are more watered down than they used to be with crappy play.
