He's not goofy whatsoever, you just said it because someone else said it. Studios smart and athletic is goofy to you

He’s a goofy kid that’s incredibly athletic. I’ve probably thought that about most anybody from Iowa to be honest. Add in his hair cut…personality….it fits.

Which DB....looked in place yesterday?  You can't really look at " in out or of place" when playing in a game where more than half of the guys probably won't set foot on an NFL field again?

The defense needs to be in sync... otherwise they all look like yesterday.  But who cares about that...the individual movement is what you look at in yesterday's type of game

They had him playing all kinds of roles. I don't blame him for it. he just wants to play ANYWHERE and we let him. He needed to be on the field in an Eagles uni. It did him good, now he has a purpose

What position do you believe he can play at a high level?

How would I know after 1 pre season game LOL

If he is recovering from something then it makes sense he doesn't look real quick yet.

I'm sure they told him not to put himself in bad positions or bust TOO hard to make plays. he is on the team, they just wanted him to get some live action for a change. I would have understood if they kept him out,but I understand letting him

Nolan Smith just isn’t looking great. Does he have any move beside needing around the outside? He hustles. Will chase down plays from behind. Give him that. But kind of seeing why the coaches weren’t playing him much his rookie season. Hear him in the postgame interview acting like he wasn’t played well and all…like he doesn’t even have a clue about how far away he actually is from where we need him to be.

He is disappointing to this point

All those YAC Creation plays have rules and ways for them to be maximized. He needs to get all that down. But then just needs to keep building that confidence getting more and more comfortable. He did well on that one play…got about 7 yards. That works. Not looking anywhere near to hit home runs. But at least can give that on those plays can counter and open things up for AJ and Smitty downfield. Those two will be drawing double teams and S. So the space should be there for some big plays to be made. Think it’s going to be Dotson doing it right now as it looks though.

Y A C YA C  baby shrk Da doo doo doo

The main thing I noticed and didn’t like from DeHean was he just wasn’t ready for the snap so many times. Messing with his helmet/facemask, looking around….he just wasn’t set and ready to ball when the snap occurred. Didn’t have real sticky coverage from any of the snaps I saw him. One things that’s a huge part of playing Slot is also run responsibilities. Fangio made a statement about how much a Slot CB really has taken over the old 4-3 LB role. He had two run plays he played terrible on,

He's clean cut American boy, very refreshing from the hair so long rap crap chaps, you can't read the jersey names or get a helmet off without assistance. Something wrong with all American boys now for you?

Just curious if you had an opinion. That’s been my main sticking point even before the draft. All this talk of versatility …kind of negating his actual  playing any one position.

I said it fits him and I like it. But absolutely not changing my hairstyle or anything 😉

But do you really think yesterday's game had any impact?  Over the 1000 reps in camp?

No. It did for DeJean who needs all the exposure to the reality he studied while being off

BPA,you take them regardless of the position. Howie got a round 1 talent in round 2,you make that move all day

Slay getting up there we will need the future guys to be ready even if that is 2 years away, but I highly doubt it

Him being ready for the ball to be snapped is very obviously fixable. A bit strange

I don’t believe in that theory at all. Players need to be able to play positions. Not looking at trading up early round two for a guy that can’t play any certain position very well. Rosie clearly doesn’t draft high regardless of position…we know that. He’s here now. We’ll see what he can do. Thought you being so high on him you had thoughts of him being a shutdown outside CB…or Slot or dynamic S talent…something. Just figured you had a reasoning more than just —-athlete.

Slay fell off TWO YEARS AGO

Draft is over. We’ll see about if he proves to be a round one talent. Have you seen some of the summers these other draft picks are having?

In Brazil if Q gets injured I’d  go with Maddox as the backup in the slot.

Jacoby Brissett got crunched!

Cooper Beebe, a third-round pick and two-time Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, started camp behind center Brock Hoffman, but started getting first-team reps after his first preseason game and was held out of the team’s final preseason game on Saturday.

Defensively, Dallas may have done even better. Per Pro Football Focus, second-round defensive end Marshawn Kneeland had three solo tackles, three stops and a pair of hurries in 26 preseason snaps. Fifth-round cornerback Caelen Carson had six tackles (four solo) in his first preseason game against the Rams and Marist Liufau, another third-round pick, looks to be the team’s starting strongside linebacker.
