This was your response to me asking you what position you thought DeJeanwould accel at

And I said how would I know after ONE GAME?nm Some were picking him before Q before he got hurt. We got  round 1 talent in round 2 how is that bad?

He was drafted to replace Kelce(but Kelce stayed on another year),so they out him at LG and that worked fine. So DeJean will play SOMEWHERE,not his COLLEGE CB "label" although he could. He was drafted because he can play all over the place

That seems to be all anybody can say about him. He’s versatile. Can play everywhere. Can he play anywhere at a very high level though? That’s a huge question for me. A player who is just a decent jack-of-all trades isn’t worth a first rounder.

Parris and Ross I’d be surprised at making the team. Just don’t see it.

Yeah, adding Dotson put them both out IMO also

Joe said that not me,but yes he is an athlete. why would you draft a non athlete at the skill positions?

Gotta play all these athletes somewhere on the field.

One may be on the PS,no real loss. Howie addressed the need. Another great job

It was a mandatory trade being as that starting roster position was not addressed well to begin with. Very obvious to me a move had to be made.

We will lose Slay after this year or if he has lost some gas we can bench him. I'm looking at DeJean as a player NEXT year and playing some roles this year as the season goes on. le the kid play sme ball. We aill figure it out, that's what coaches do

Dickerson went in his rookie year at RG then was moved to LG once they realized it was going to be needed long term that season. All his rookie season.

Yep,we all said we needed a slot and TE2,so we got at least 1 handled. Now we'll see if Calcaterra is the answer to the 2. I doubt it but haven't seen him play

Dickerson was known to be very capable G was the point. But also believed to be very capable C.

Yeah pretty cool for a guy who was drafted to replace Kelce

So we're down to TE2 and the RG position that needs to be decided

Where does CJG fit in?

We specifically brought Ceedy Duce in to play S per his demands. But he might be better playing Slot.

Anyway, DeJean is a place holder for the moment. We could play him outside in garbage time how see how he does. he needs the NFL snaps

When you draft BPA,you have trade bait and Howie is good at that also.

I can’t back you up on that statement. That’s not what I think he does.

Going to be interesting to see the mixture Fangio comes up with. Different looks with different players. I like it alot

We now have excess secondary when we have always lacked there, you can't see a trade for say a better LB?

Or draft picks from a needy team?

Would think there was a reason you saw him as a top first round pick draft prospect. That he could play a position very well.

If no takers what have you lost? You have leverage next year for guys who demand too much money

You know instead of the thinking of just drafting so high and then see where he fits. He’s a first round prospect…but you don’t know what position he can be great at isn’t a very strong endorsement of that opinion to me.

Probably locked in Ainias on the team also. Worked both ways. Could afford Ainias on the 53 more with Dotson.

He was LABLED as a CB.but he played all over there also in different spots. he has so much talent the Iowa coach wanted to use him on offense also if he would have stayed

We have our starters, let the kids watch and learn. The other guys are expendable

I get it. You just think the coaches can probably find some role for him on the team. You don’t have any position you see him as being great at.
