Why can't the simple statement of I would like to see A Smith used in a few motion and screen plays before the end of the season be just that? Why does it have to be more? Why does it have to involve a prediction or an I called it....or have to be more with some kind of subliminal message or agenda?

I didn't see anything complicated that needs development. Although obviously a day 3 rookie has a lot to develop. I just didn't see what is supposed to be a standout athletic guy? He caught short passes... couldn't get away. His route and hands were fine... but the special YAC creation talent.. that really isn't something you develop... didn't see it.

August 26, 20242 yr Laekin Vakalahi played in a real football game for the first time ever late in the fourth quarter. He lined up at left tackle. As an international exemption, he’ll spend this entire season practicing (not playing at all) and preparing to handle more reps/snaps next summer This guy will be around.
