I'm saying no rookie is or needs to be a finished product day 1. I said with my original post, I'd like to see him on a few end around and screen plays ..even just to run the motion to give the other guys a rest. I've said it would be great to have that by the end of the season. How did this simple idea evolve into whatever point you are trying to make?
August 26, 20242 yr Your response to me saying Ainias needs time to develop and improve ….you think you’re countering somehow with stating” no rookie needs to be a finished product day one” huh Why didn’t you just say …you agree?
August 26, 20242 yr Training camp...July 23...33 days ago. 33 days from now its September 27. There will be development ... and still 14 games to go. The difference for a guy like A Smith ... the idea will be how he can come in and contribute with the first team...in a real game. Not " how he looks" A guy that was complained about ...the #2 RB....got 4 carries a game. The role of A Smith might be one touch...and a few decoy/ motion plays. Why is it a concern it needs to happen in Brazil?
August 26, 20242 yr So when’s your timeline you need Ainias to contribute? Week 1? Week 7? Postseason rookie year? Week 18 final year of his rookie contract?

When did I ever say I didn't agree? I said from the first post that I was looking for a few of those type plays from him at the end of the season? How does that sound like I disagree he needs time?

I don't have one....why do we need one...now? What was the timeline with Clement that we had in August of 2017?

So your saying we should just rely on the backup QB to throw passes to an undrafted Rb not known as being a pass catcher for our season plan each offseason?

You could not look for an argument or try to make up anything more than what was said? Why would you think from anything I said that I wouldn't think A Smith needs to develop?

Why rank players in the draft? Why prioritize certain FAs? Why actually consider the cap space? Is that what you’re saying?

In order: Breece Hall Jamarr Chase Travis Etienne Marvin Harrison Jr Anthony Richardson Devonte Smith Najae Harris Rhamondre Stevenson Dalton Kincaid Bills xavier Worthy J Williams Broncos RB Aaron Rodgers Yoo Kicker Then, the "expert” fantasy players said i was an idiot as my first 3 picks have a bye week 12. How many teams in your league? And that's great about week 12... you kick their butts for the first 11 weeks. That's pretty solid in the method you drafted... RB, WR.... balance but prioritizing RB.... then same in rounds 3 &4.... didn't over draft a QB ( Richardson should be valuable in leagues that either lower the value of passing or elevate the value of QB rushing) Then I like that you went 3WRs before 3RBs... that's where there are more WRs than RBs so take that value. Solid TE and D....took a kicker that plays more than half his games inside with a team that looks to be in a lot of games. Very nice draft... of course we can't really tell 100% unless we saw who you passed on...lol. Now comes the fun part of picking the right starters each week...lol. Good luck!

I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about…but what if instead of lowballing our offer of a third round pick for the RB ..we actually outbid the Niners and trade for McCaffrey instead? Do we win the SB?

Isn't it obvious that we offer the most when we actually make a trade....and another team offers more than the entire league not just us?

We offered a third round pick for arguably the best player in the league. Niners gave a second, third, fourth and two fifths. If that isn’t lowballing…I don’t know what is.

August 26, 20242 yr 1 minute ago, cunninghamtheman said: I’d say yes we do I'd say we win if the QB didn't give KC a free 7 points in between their 2 punts...that was the time of the game momentum was on our side and that key mistake never let us pull away with the 3 score lead going into the half. Some say if the field wasn't slippery.... or if the ref didn't make the last call. Or if Siri went for it before the punter slipped and their return guy avoided 6 unblocked guys we had. Lots of ifs. It is what it is. But the point is....even your model organization SF ( who hasn't won in 30 years) doesn't have all the answers when OTAs start....they didn't with CMC or with their QB.
