That’s a real concern! The first one last night was I think just a good play by the DB but the second? In that situation that’s just unacceptable. It’s early days but that felt a lot like Jalen though 11 games last year. Some good plays to bail him out of some awful plays.

The first one was awful!!!    He threw a floater in the middle if the field ... in a crowd!

I think it’s a good play the DB but yeah I know what you mean bud. There was no need for it at all!

It was a gift INT for the DB... as long as his teammates didn't fight him for it!

You don't float the ball in the middle of the field in the pros.

It was a great play by the DB was still a terrible read and underthrown late ball by Hurts that was already triple covered

What was the great play by the DB?  Not dropping an easy floater?

Another thing I noticed didn’t seem like we were getting the push we have been in previous seasons with the tush push

maybe it was just GB defending it well but they had a stop on one and the other one I seen was almost stopped if not for a late surge and push from Barkley to help get Hurts over the 1st down mark

They figured out they have to attack Dickerson head on before he gets the push on the diagonal angle to the inside...which also prevents Mailata from helping on that diagonal push.

Last couple years they were trying all these other things ...like getting lower than Kelce...lol.  the center just falls on this play as a decoy almost.  Dickerson getting the angle push has been the genesis of the design the whole time.

I'm curious if they attempt a few to the other side to change things up a little?

Well...on to week 2 ..first place in the conference with a win vs a projected playoff team.. our match up vs the NFC North.

Dallas,Detroit and SF all have to play each other.

We get extra rest for the home opener..with the team everyone thinks will win the AFC South.

Going to look good if a 2-0 start with GB and ATL out of the way.

... but everyone seems to be on the same page after game 1.    They overcame the QB and won in spite of him.    The coach as per usual did his job praising him.  Probably why he is popular with his players and they wanted him back.

We're you guys able to watch the game?  I didn't even realize about " Peacock "   ...we had the local station carry the game.

Just curious as to why the need to watch a 3am replay...lol

Yes it was on NBC 10, which I don't get.

That message was for anyone that didn't get to see the game and I like re-watching games lol

Is Jordan Love done?

Hurts had some beautiful balls out there. He threw such an Uber-catchable ready to run ball to AJ…to start the third. That TD pass to Saquan…he looked off the defender and placed a dime. Several other good throws to playmakers. He also seemed to start out like ‘a guy that just took the red jersey off for the first time since last season.’ Learning a new O. Didn’t seem like there was any trust so quickly here week one with Dotson. So they need to wind that out more here for sure. Should have just got the ball in his hands with a YAC Creation little play at least. But loved that just game silencing final drive.

I wanted to see Shipley get a couple of touches. There was a chance it two…but the Pack seemed to bite up on him.

No Ringo…went with Maddox instead. That didn’t thrill me.

90 percent of the snaps for Maddox???

Guy came across the field to make the play not like he was just one of the 3 guys covering the WR.

It was a nice impressive read by the S to make the read and then the play

6 snaps for DeJean in Brazil. Dipped his toes.

NFL DBs....you can't float the ball against them.   Was an awful throw.

Which I stated numerous times still that it was a terrible read and throw and still  a great play by McKinney to come across the field to make the int…

Ojomo had a big play …just a ‘hurry’ or ‘pressure.’

Q very actively defended like four passes. Was stout and active in his tackling role. Real nice debut I thought.

Hurts is engaged it appears. She’s got a monster rock on!

The ball was in the middle of the field.   All these NFL DBs can cover ground on a floater in the middle.  He didn't come across the whole field.  From one side to the middle... pretty much their jobs.

They’re saying this was dirty at the end on Carter. Who was this?Josh Sweat and Jalen Carter meeting at the QB in the clutch.

Just awful ... you see the DB not even move until Hurts shifted his body toward the middle... didn't come anywhere near across the field, he was lined up inside the numbers and already shifted his weight back to the middle before Hurts released the ball.   Awful QB play.

Maybe that's why he doesn't seem as engaged on the field?   But also why they said he has a better outlook on life?

Guy moved like 10 yards... watch the replay from the QB angle.  He was already playing 2 deep zone at the start... an NFL S can make that play easily in the middle of the field, Hurts already looked away from his side, he moved to the middle before the throw was made. A weak armed QB can't make that decision.

Q locking it down from the jump
