Yea reasonable expectations is not making that pass into triple coverage

Whatever….you didn’t want him to knock rust off in the PS. Crazy you thought he was going to come out in a new O and be crisp and on point?

That’s a mental part of the game him missing a throw but little off ok that rust he hasn’t played…. Him making a read and decision to throw into triple coverage that just bad not oh it’s his 2nd snap their is no excuse to make a pass into triple coverage as a 5th year vet

Not worried about it at all.

Nope just didn’t think he was going to look at triple coverage and throw into it wild to think if you see 3 people you shouldn’t make that pass

34 points was great, but he left another 14 on field. I thought 31 PPG was impossible for you??? So now it's possible????? He was lucky the GB D wasn't that great either. Bark scored 14 of those 34 points dude.and 7 more was Hurts to Bark. So take that 14 away and we LOSE!!!! That scrub Gainwell also made some plays(should have been cut for LB5)

Why are we taking points away? Makes no sense.

Neither am I just stating the facts it was a horrible play that has no excuses for how terrible it was

Why are you just wiping away that beautiful throw to the RB by Hurts got a TD?

Wild I talked turnovers last year and ham had a massive list of excuses talking turnovers again and more excuses

Carter getting accused of a dirty play on Love dude was just doing his job tackling the QB. It was an unfortunate accident but Carter didn’t do anything wrong

Really just showcases how soft the game has come when fans forget to realize this is a contact sport and the injuries happen

You need "contact" before you can make a throw? What did he do in camp?. I throw the ball to my grandson without contact all the time. Pitch and catch, happens in backyards all across America with no contact and I assume in Brazil too. Nice spin though. If my washer ever quits I can send you my laundry

With 300+ pound DT bearing down on you….it totally different.

It's his JOB. Can you perform on Tuesdays at your work even if you have a bad Monday? This isn't a game for him it's his JOB!! If you still sucked at your job after 5 years you would be fired

Football guys practice more than they actually play.

Easy to throw unharrassed with nothing on the line.

Your boy made some idiot decisions... not rust from throws.  The same guy who they all bragged about not throwing a pick all preseason.  The same guy who they said was mentally sharp.   The decisions on both INTs..weren;t even as bad as the one to throw it before the 2nd INT.   Every keeper on the read option was a bad decision

Decisions are the brain's function.  He is a 5th year QB now.  Mentally, he needs to play like one .... but he can run.

I don’t care about the bragging during the summmer. Red don’t touch me shirt isn’t real football….for anybody.

Zero contact up until that first series backed up at the Endzone

I'll excuse the poor reads he made on keeping the ball on his read options... you can sell me on the Rust there.  You can even sell me on the fact the league has figured out how to stop that play.   You can't sell me that because he didn't play a drive or two a month ago in preseason game one as the reason for either interception, taking the sack at the half and the worst decision of the game almost throwing the pick 6 the play before the 2nd interception.

The intangibles of situational awareness... just isn’t there.

Yes, you do not try a pass when your receiver is surrounded (in this case, caged in) by 3 defenders. Just throw the ball away. After 5 years in the pros, should know better.

I really think Hurts panics. I think this because in college he was so accustomed to being able to run away from most of the rush with ease. Not so easy in the NFL.

Great throws to Barkley and AJ... the primary WRS.     The great ones....which if anyone actually thinks he really is the best in franchise history 🤦🤦🤦🤦... they can make plays outside of the primary read or running.

And really...we aren't talking about making plays....we are talking about just avoiding dumb mistakes.

Even in 2020 or 2021...he didn't make dumb mistakes... idk why it started last year?

Even the fumble in the SB untouched..not a mental mistake, just the ball skipping or whatever.    Last year and then Friday, just some bad decisions at the exact wrong times???  Doesn’t make sense...mentally you should progress,  not regress?

Agreed on all.

Yes, Hurts is a very accurate passer and a talented athlete. Those passes to Bark and AJ made my jaw drop…like WOW lol. I believe he can be better than McNabb. He just needs to improve his situational decision making. Never throw into a crowd unless it's a Hail Mary.

You can make excuses for why plays didn't work...blocking or nobody open.  I get that.  That should lead to an incomplete pass or a scramble for a short loss at the worst... the making of an unsuccessful play going nowhere...to becoming a total disaster is something the QB needs to avoid.  Only excuses I would give is if he is hit from the blindside and fumbles...or forces a throw on a 4th down or end of a half.

He doesn't have the arm strength to make off timing throws across his body....needs to be smart there, keep those type of throws shorter. Or put them in places that are safe...like the Bills game last year where he scrambled left and lofted it in the corner for a TD.

He throws very accurate on the short routes ( which annoyed me with  McNabb, even Wentz would miss too many gimme throws or not put them where the YAC could come afterwards. )

But for a typical 2020 QB, he doesn't have the arm strength to make those off timing deeper throws.   That's fine, just need to be smart about it and avoid those situations.

He threaded the needle to Devonta multiple times

I’m not dogging Cam for the bad snap in the beggining. I’m not hammering Hurts on being stuck on the endzone line facing a dominating bull rush up the gut…,throwing that interception. It wasn’t good. But got football starting back again. No more red don’t touch me jersey. Now that second interception was pretty silly. Directing AJ over to throw him a jump ball. AJ slipped. But still a poor decision.

Not getting joint practices and not playing in the PS has its downsideWe got the W. So we got a bunch to work out.
