September 7, 20242 yr When you htink of Tom Brady... he made a thousand plays like we did to Gainwell last night, where Gainwell broke a few tackles to get the 1st down and keep the possible TD before the half.  The next play Hurts takes a bad sack to waste the 2nd time out and basically put the possibility of a TD out of reach, because with 1 timeout and 2nd and 16, we needed 16 yards and out of bounds to save the last time out. If Hurts throws the ball away, 2nd and 10 allows for more plays and the ability to call timeout with having one left.  That was the type of play Brady made, dump the ball off, let your guy do the work, and then the next play throw it away to save the ability to get a TD.   We also had a chance to put the game away... 3 bad decisions in a row by Hurts. 1. Keeping the ball on a read option.  2. almost throwing a pick 6 across the field.  Then the dumb INT in the end zone trying to throw across his body.  A lot of QB play is just avoiding the stupid... stupid decisions.  that stuff is what I want to see from Hurts. It's year 5, that's basic QB stuff right there, not franchise level QB stuff. Wow, he made a couple of throws... in these league that's a minimum requirement. The offense is stacked with weapons... hopefully not wasted. As the announcer said... a bunch of stacked weapons and Hurts. Â
September 7, 20242 yr What happened on that third down they just let Gary jump offside and go kill our QB past Lane?

September 7, 20242 yr I’d say Hassan not even suiting up week one pretty much nails our third rounder instead of second rounder down.
September 7, 20242 yr Week 1, going 6 for 7 for 91 yards and a touchdown while averaging a time to throw of 2.46 seconds against the Packers' blitz Friday night.

September 8, 20242 yr That first interception last night….watching from the QB view….what the hell was Hurts doing even throwing the ball there? That was like a hail mary, last second play down by 5 throw…praying for your guy to get REALLY lucky. Uggg. I don’t want to pile on. But, c’mon man!Â

Hadn’t had a real snap yet…until backed up on his own Endzone in a real game.
September 8, 20242 yr Slippery field, the rush came back in his face while he was right at the end zone. Hardly going to define his career on he hasn’t been touched all offseason so he got thrown to the fire at his own goaline.

Bad decisions... pee wee ball level.  Can't be having that. Rust means some bad throws and some off timing.  Decisions making already his weakness... no excuse for that.Â

HE IS AN NFL QB. practices EVERY day. Watches film EVERY day. Gets coached EVERY day. Let’s go Hurts. TD passes were money. Decision making…get that RIGHT!

Looks to me like the progress stopped and he has peaked unless he shows me something soon
