Then risked his top players on the most injury prone field league wide. Resulted in AJ getting injured. Hurts getting injured. Sidney still isn’t back from his injury that day. Brilliant! He’s qualified to sell drinks on the Titanic…is about it. Idk... if Barkley catches the ball.... you would be " Hurts made a great decision going for the win, apparently they put the ball in his hands and let him make the decision " That would have been your spin. Which is fine... amazing how Barkley changes all the narrative. As they said today... if Foles drops the Philly Special everyone is yelling at Doug for not giving Ajayi or Blount the ball. It's a players game. The plays were there...easy catches... one was made, one wasn't. Barkley should be able to catch better than Foles.

I never said anything about Barkley shouldn’t have easily caught the pass. But the playcall wasn’t the correct one in that whole situation. Which both you and Siri seemed to understand at the moment of declining the penalty ….that happened just before that whole situation unfolded.
September 18, 20242 yr Decline the penalty….to force them to use their TOs. Then when they were out of TOs…let them off the hook by not running the ball…which runs the clock.

Going for it on fourth down if we don’t make it. Well...we disagree. As well as for me... with a minute left...I'd rather be up 6 and force them to drive 70 yards with a clear line to defend... rather than be up 3, where 40 or 50 yards gets a FG.... and having to defend another 40 yards of field behind me. Always force the team to go all the way down field. Just stupid for you to say you would rather be up 3 to save 17 yards while they can kick a FG from our 40.

So ... we have a minute left.... your boy at QB... Elliot is our kicker. You can choose ...we get the ball on our 17 down 3. Or our 30 down 6.... you would prefer being down 6 and needing 70 yards for a TD vs a couple of plays for a FG?

Have you ever been on a field and played defense? Much easier to defend a goal line on a pass play...than a fantom FG marker... especially much more difficult to defend a phantom FG mark with another 40yards of field behind you. Much easier to move the ball via a pass...when the secondary has to worry about covering a lot more behind them. Just brutal logic on your part.

Again ATL aren’t a great offense so yeah ok sure 15 points is a decent showing but that’s against Kirk Coupons. They had the opportunities in the red zone and we held firm. Do I think they’d do that against a good offense? Against the Saints? No.

You kinda just shuffle and sit on the double teams and wait for a second before climbing. Downside of that is that if it gets handed off you don’t get much movement as a result.” Quote right from Kelce and the same fans that want guys to shuffle and sit will be the same ones complaining about our run blocking It's the RPO BS

September 19, 20242 yr See in all my years watching this game something I’ve noticed really consistently is that teams down 3 tend to just play for the field goal. That’s all they’re worried about for the most part. So if you don’t give up some long play…the game would have gone to OT. But instead we forced them to take big chances having to score a TD because we kicked the field goal and went up by 6.

Not logic I expect you No Mas to grasp…no matter how many zillions of games you actually watched this occur and know to be true.
September 19, 20242 yr If we run it on third down…probably even convert. But worst case scenario we are stopped short. Then run it again…or then you can throw it…because the clock will stop on change of possession anyway. Worst case on both and we don’t gain the first down: the clock is dwindled to under a minute. They have much further to go than from the thirty. Plus their whole mentality is just needing to get into field goal range to send it to OT.
September 19, 20242 yr Another thing to tear apart our terrible CEO HC about is: why didn’t he call a TO? Our team was shell shocked. Heck the whole stadium was in shock that Saquan dropped that catch. The D was very clearly reeling. They weren’t ready to play…very obviously. If you have nothing to do being a CEO HC…he should have noticed this and called TO on D and regrouped the troops.

They weren’t even blocking anyone out there.
September 19, 20242 yr I guess Moore needs to put in huge read warning signs on each RPO play for the Olines playbook….don’t go downfield. No idea how they all haven’t already very clearly known this..,but they didn’t. If only we had a CEO HC with nothing to do but point this out in practice everyday.

So you’re basically asking the OL to sit at the line of scrimmage and still be able to generate rush lanes if we run the ball In the RPO. But then when we struggle running you will be the same guy on here saying the OL isn’t doing there job
September 19, 20242 yr Do we think the OL going to be driving the DL backwards if they are just shuffling their feet at the LoS since they can’t move forward on the chance Hurts opts to throw on the RPO
September 19, 20242 yr Could just avoid the illegal man down field by not running the rpo wild concept I know…. Can give the same similar looks lining up the same and doing a PA and hitting the bubble screen(Hurts himself would still have the option to run) OL then knows it’s a pass.

How many times have we run the RPO over the last several years? How many times are all these teams league wide running RPOs? Oline aren’t allowed downfield. That’s the simple rule that everybody should know.

Have we been getting flagged nonstop for illegal Oline downfield on RPOs all these times? Just don’t go downfield blocking on an RPO. Very basic.
September 19, 20242 yr Where the mystery or misunderstanding about whether or not Oline are allowed downfield on RPOs?
