What if he checks the D and it’s exactly the blitz everybody is expecting…yet that’s been the tool he was given to try and beat it? I mean last season how it ended we very much knew what was coming…yet Siri was calling that play…a terrible one to call to beat that D. Who’s Hurts supposed to be following about how to adjust…if the HC calling the plays in his O clearly doesn’t have the answers?

In 2022 didn’t we have a problem with scoring in a particular quarter? I’m sure I remember us not scoring in a quarter and then they almost went the other way with it and corrected it but then in doing so stopped scoring points in another quarter.

He has to call a play HURTS can beat. With his limitations,sometimes that's hard. What your dream call is may be out of Hurts ability range. This is why Goedert and TE 2 are so important to this offense. bark can also run patterns as we already know. On a blitz drop a quick short pass to Goedert and let him go. Without him you need that reliable slot or Barkley ,but on a blitz bark should stay back and block. This is where Gainwell comes in. If you win those the blitzing will stop

Again...your belief is that an NFL coach who came up through the ranks ....has never used a hot route... that's the reason... not the QB who can't recognize things?

But again... you miss the fact that this stuff has been going on the whole time with Hurts...  not just 2023.  

It seems at least the media woke up.... half saying Hurts did ok and the other half concerned about his last couple performances.... funny, the difference between perception when he did the same stuff 2 years ago he was being talked about as MVP??    Lol. 

Hurts pouts when he doesn't get his way...the offense would run smoother and better if he didn't need to cuddled. Get up under center,

take the 3-5 step drop and deliver...use play action and for the love of GOD he doesn't need to turn his whole body square to the RB or WR on a screen,

giving the defender time to close in.

No, Lamar threw for 5... he did run 1 in that got called back on a hold. 2 Brotherly shoves..wow.. We have a top 5 OL.. 2 top WR's, a star RB 

and a top 10 TE ( granted when he's healthy).. how much more can you give a guy and ask him to conform just 1 bit for the team.. not keep falling back 

to the same bad habits that got you moved in to the bench in Alabama.
