Nick Sirianni knew Saquon Barkley was 13 rushing yards away from a career high but with the score being 28 to 3, Nick spoke with Saquon. And Saquon said, let the other guys eat. That says a lot about Saquon. No one went home hungry.

One more series and we could have had both LOL. Nice he is humble though and not a jerk

I have Henry in 3/4 leagues as I drafted 9,9,10,9. I took Hurts first in one league and he's been killing me since

In the league I took Hurts first,I got St Brown in round 2 (lmao) on the turn,so that helps me some. My RB's are weak, but I've been getting better ones off the wire. Real rookies dumping good players on byes LOL. Hurts actually helped me today so I will be 6-1 in that league

Pass rush looked better today also and the gnats O line is much better than Clevelands was. Now Siri needs to show them why today was better so they can compare it other games. I'm sure he will. Barkley was just on fire all game long and there was some nice blocking going on for him

No way. Watch the game again. Giants OLine was awful! Not saying the Eagles’ Dline didn’t play well. But it was more about the Giants Oline…..BAD!

Cleveland O line is worse LOL

What’s better for the team is making mistakes and growing even if it isn’t as safe an impressive early on. Risk the early loss…to get where we need. No way at this rate we are beating the top teams. Going to get slaughtered. This feels too much like last season. We were 10-1 winning and I was feeling how hollow it felt.

Who was the top team we beat in 2022?   This is what it's been ...same stuff.

Idk how you say " safe"  IMO they start off passing the ball too much.   That's not safe.  Things always seem to get going when they start running the ball.

I guess 12 wins isn't totally out of the question. It depends which Eagles team shows up. it would be nice to have consistency. I'm still puzzled(Joe is not) as to why we can't score in the first 1/4. it's just weird

We force the pass to start the game.  Our QB is not one to force the pass with...the threat of the run is what opens up his passing.

Yeah everything just is swarming with what many here complained so heavy about: the turnovers. Can’t feel like anything these last two games but our coaches know just pounding home don’t risk a turnover. Like last offseason they focused on don’t try and run to make plays and get injured. I’m actually getting concerned myself now. Just can’t rise to your greatness by being so scared. It’s like all we are coaching is don’t lose.

They coached Hurts not to throw the ball to wide open Barkley for a TD...or Smith right there in front of him for a 1st down?     Hunh?  ?????

Yeah because you try to make rushing the ball about Hurts Hating. But it’s what we are built to do. Be physical! Attack! More so than finesse. We invested so much in this monsterous big and strong Oline. Don’t know how big you are….but let me ask you…if you lined up on the Dline across from our Oline…would you prefer they go backwards and try and stop you? I sure as heck would. Because if they attack forward they punish people. That’s what it’s about. We need that Oline investment to hit guys and punish them. If I was lined up across from our Oline and it was a running play I’d be road kill! Those defenders tend to be a little less effective in all areas after we beat them down and punish them some. Pass rush a little slower and more hesitant. Tackling less aggressive. Coverage after getting hammered a few times tends to not have the same quickness and agility.

I don’t know so much about that. Both aid each other. But AJ gets doubled pretty consistently.

Kind of like last season…all offseason all they seem to be working on with Hurts was get down and don’t get injured. Just negative kind of coaching. I more believe in coaching greatness. Just watching how he is playing. Also just been the all everything narrative…about him and turnovers. Got him playing ultra conservative. If you spend all this time and everybody is tearing him down about the turnovers. So now he is making sure he doesn’t turn the ball over. Which you’d think would be a good thing, But you can’t have players just playing to not make mistakes.. Just obvious the results. He isn’t trying to make the big plays. Just getting down and taking the sack….instead of trying to escape. Making that the key is coaching to be gunshy.

Crap gameplan and a team that doesn’t seem to show up ready to play.

Yeah their field is not nearly as nice as The Linc.

But yeah I mentioned Hurts not throwing the ball to Smitty myself. Exactly what I’m saying…he looks gunshy all the sudden. But he did deliver an absolute beautiful ball while taking a hit right out in front of AJ for a TD the next play.

See this is what these Hurts Haters are doing. So negative just whole narrative tearing our QB down about turnovers. I mean yes do you want him to have better ball security? Absolutely. When he runs he needs to protect it better. But you can’t coach a QB "don’t throw interceptions.” Doesn’t work like that. Same thing as coaching to be more hesitant and gunshy. We are going backwards. Two straight wins…but winning over these crap teams isn’t going forward.

I don’t know…i guess Rosie did show Hurts. Bringing back Siri. Second season where it’s feeling like they are coaching him to be scared. Yes he needs to learn to manage the hits more and get down or out of bounds. But what we need is him to be taught Moore’s scheme. Teach him with these passing plays versus each D what the progression of options are. No other real way to do it but trial by fire. Let it rip.

We spent all offseason working on Moore’s O. Then gone backwards away from it. Coaching don’t run, don’t throw interceptions, totally went less and less of actually progressing with our real scheme.

I mean to be fair it was pretty much the staple of 2022… Beat bad teams, get to the play offs with momentum and see what happens. Do I think this team is going to the SB? No. But there’s a lot of pretty average teams in the NFL and we have the talent to beat anyone on our day.
