How was the game today....didn't get a chance to watch much other than late 1st early 2nd Q

Are we complaining yet about the coach?   Do they play for him yet?   Not sure if this was a game we should have won 50-0 and he screwed up...hopefully be able to watch some later.

Any conversation with fans after the game... I need to know this meaningful stuff!

Washington with divine intervention today!

Limit turnovers and this team can play with anyone

Was clearly the key factor when we were 10-1 last season while having turnovers. Actually creating turnovers by our D seems to be a more accurate factor. Not trying to come off like a **** ….but I respectfully disagree. Focus on being tight and not turning the ball over is a huge limitation on this squad’s potential ceiling. I never believed in thinking/coaching/preaching don’t screw up. Good ball security scrambling to not give away easy turnovers fumbling easy a fairly easy skill to be taught by most any quality football coach. You don’t coach don’t throw interceptions. You should be coaching: HOW TO BE GREAT!

We always see things so differently while watching the exact same thing. The defender tipped it up to be caught. That’s bad play by the defender that otherwise rose above everybody to be capable of making the play. Give full credit to the Commander player for not doing what all the Bears defenders did also…he just didn’t pile into the mob. Nice outside the box result for you to have witnessed. How do you catch the game winning Hail Mary? Was your answer ever just not go all out trying to be the head Sheeple. Don’t do exactly what everybody else is doing trying to just out jump and rise above the herd. The one guy didn’t get in the mix….he zigged when everybody else zagged. Got right behind the herd of sheep and was aware and ready to make the play that fell right into his lap.

Didn’t see who the Commander actually was that caught the Hail Mary. But he was in such an ideal position that should be coached for that play. In basketball it pretty much is exactly like getting in ideal position for the rebound.

Right....divine intervention with how stupid the defense played.

It's lucky when the other team makes a completely idiotic play.  It's a lucky win.

No need to disagree and write a novel about it.   It was luck.

Dude..the Chicago defender left him alone....because he had to join in as 10 people jumped at the 3 yard line.  It was completely stupid defense and Washington was lucky.

Only you can make a 9 sentence scientific explanation of a complete @ss play by the defense.

FL I  question maybe you can help me understand how your perspective is anything other than pure Hurts Hating. You directly try and tear down our leader and act upset going so far as trying to negatively attack Hurts endlessly(at this point) stating Hurts is ball hogging by scoring TDs. What is your problem with Hurts scoring? Why does it infuriate you so much each time Hurts scores? Yet you constantly complain anytime he doesn’t score your 31 points each game. So which player today in the NFL is a better option to score a TD in short yardage situations? This part I don’t even need you to answer…because there just isn’t anybody even close. All the times over the year’s we failed to get that final yard or inch failing to score. This is absolutely an area of undeniable strength of Hurts. Why does he need to go lower percentage higher risk play just for the only reason of forcing somebody less qualified to convert and score?

You bash Hurts as ball hogging while just an absolute refusal to ever give him any credit what so ever. Not even a grey area differing opinion subject. This is one area of absolute dominant strength. This is just proof of your jaded viewpoint when it comes to our leader. You just hate him so much.

Amen!

Hurts played his best game of the year. I still worry about how slow he is to read the defense…but give him credit for an exceptional game today. Awesome job!

He clearly is reading the D and understanding his lane to run or scramble well. The part he hasn’t mastered is the answer to attack each D. Like imagine if he just had a coach(you know that supposed mature adult strictly having a job based on his understanding of the game of football) that just told him when they are doing this counter by doing this. I can’t rip every athlete expecting them all to be good coaches after they are finished playing. But I can’t find any reason to accept coaches not having the knowledge and answers.

Really becoming clear we had a first time HC that was massively overwhelmed when Hurts second season first time as the starting QB. How can you really be ready for everything that comes with the massive task of being HC? Only experience can get anybody there. He had Kelce that could handle many facets of running the O to help and rely on the HoF. Which is great. But just because the young QB wasn’t messing to do all that on gamedays …wasn’t any legit excuse to not teach him. I’m not in the meeting rooms and all. Not saying Hurts weakness doesn’t have anything to do with himself. But with this track record for years now the proof of consistent track record has played out. Every time Siri chooses to take the short cut approach for short term success. I just don’t think he even is capable of having and accomplishing deeper longer termed plans that require so many more steps. Like I said HC job is insane amount of responsibilities and tasks. So clearly he can handle a bunch of things….just to not be fired week 3 of his first season.

Not a single person here other than me was even thinking Hurts could be our franchise QB option. Most of the talk was keep Wentz referring to his great streak he put together in the past. Or talking of luring Russel Wilson or Deshaun Watson was a big name favored by many. Remember Rosie stacked draft picks too. Which seemed like most or the majority here had drafting a QB in mind. Heck Rosie was clearly scouting Pickett and that draft class QB situation very thoroughly with his mindset believing Hurts wasn’t the guy…and he actually drafted him in the second round…after signing and identifying Wentz as the franchise QB. Just a terrible QB class I’m glad we didn’t reach into our of desperation to force a QB. If Hurts didn’t show promise his first year starting in totally convinced we trade up to draft Pickett.

So that’s just my long excuse/reasoning for why, at the time, it wasn’t understood and so clear cut that these decisions to short cut was being made on our franchise QB. Nobody would allow any such approach on a top pick.
But now we look back in hindsight, when I say we I actually don’t mean myself, you can understand that what occurred was a first time inexperienced HC in over his head…that wasn’t a good choice to begin with..hired based on bringing with him very strong coordinators. That we have totally actually been saddling our Franchise guy with bad coaching. Not one season…the whole time….which bringing him back this season is just a brutally tough insult to injury.

So we get a franchise very young QB and have screwed it up so bad. Half the time teams just desperately searching for the player. We got the player….but had a bad coach ….the whole time….think most already understand this….well clearly I shouldn’t assume anybody thinks like me here. But not just didn’t supply a quality HC. He actively has decided to just adapt to do what the young kid can do and is good at. Which you gotta do to some degrees. Took the short term approach to win now with a 22/23 whatever year old to try and do whatever to win the next game only,

So everything point towards we short cutted our franchise QB. Decided to win week whatever each season over the longer term value and success.

Dallas 3-5..  we can put them away with 2 wins in a row here.

AJ Brown hasn't lost yet

Barkley drop ... fluke play for Washington....odds are we would be 6-1 and they would be 5-3.

But imagine if we had a coach🤦

Really more like the team I want to see. At least we seem to have been on the same page today. Hurts even managed the game well

The one who has the best O line. I would like a humble QB(not a whiny one when we lose,or the self pity "I need to do better BS" This is TEAM and the TEAM makes the effort to get to the GL. They all busted ass to get there, then he burns the O line and runs behind them. I'm not a fan of that play when we have TE;RB;s and WR's who worked hard to get there only to have that stat taken away and awarded to Hurts. The TD should go to the O line he runs behind. Pretty simple. How can Barkley(for example ever score the most TD's in history if Hurts hogs the ball all the time? It's childish, like the kid who takes his bases and goes home because his team is losing. The tush push should be a last resort, not the first. I just hate that play and I would hate it no matter who the ball hogging jerk was. It just happens to be Jersey #1. BTW I was sad Shipley's first ever TD got called back. What a spectacular effort by that kid

You rub them jaded balls every night huh? The jaded part is the I,Me,MY,decision at the GL for him to grab that stat line so he can run to Lurie on Monday and say See Dad, I did it!!! It should be ONE play in a basket full. It's so bad the defenses line up before we do because they know thats the only play we have from the 1. It's the only play in th Jalen Hurts play book from the 1. The most predictable play in the NFL and a franchise record. We need more GL variety or teams like TB will stop that and we're done. Took a few tries today as teams are figuring this out. Hurts needs to say "No,I want Shipley to run it in,or I want a pass play to Calcaterrta. It gives off more a team aura than "let these big guys push your sad a** over the whiter stripe. Just selfish. But year we got 31PPG which you rambled on about for PAGES that it was IMPOSSIBLE and I was wrong and it could not be done. I wouldn't say that if I didn't see a talented team like this one. It's like golf,if you shoot just par all year, you will be wealthy man.31 PPG should be par, they GOAL every game and stop saying it can't be done because we have done it. Now rub my jaded balls 🤣 You were totally right about Q. He is going to be an animal. The picks will come.he should have had 5 that I know of. Once he gets the full NFL thing locked in he will be an island. He is covering some of the best and doing a great job. Nice fund by you. My guy ASmith is not what I expected/not transitioning well. He ws on fire in college but has since cooled way off. IDK maybe he lost his confidence. That's tough for a new kid. But these are the pros and you gt over it,or you go on the couch and play Madden. Hurts played better todays(sans my GL complaint) So I'd like to see that team work from here on out

He had time to read a book with our O line. He's not always going to have that luxury, still a bit indecisive at times, but much better than last week. Maybe it's a start,of things starting to gel

BTW,I had this game marked as an L as a disclaimer. We beat a good team today and we needed to do it although we still have no points in the first 1/4. I guess this team is like trying to start an old Buick on a winter day. Crank it 15 times(first 1/4) maybe after 22 cranks it comes alive

Yeah I thought this was a tough road game against a decent team with a really good QB. Oh and a team that needed the win desperately given how they started the season.

The first quarter stuff is a concern but I guess today there’s context… Cincy opened with a 10 minute drive and we did score points on our opening drive.
