October 27, 20242 yr Coming off two straight wins I still see things as Siri’s job should massively be on the line. First two series are the game planned script put together Siri has control over. Have we done anything all season so far early? Clearly know we haven’t scored.

First two series are the game planned script put together Siri has control over. Have we done anything all season so far early? Clearly know we haven’t scored. We need Rosie to step in here so we can accomplish what’s best for the team. Gotta let Moore run his O. Everybody overly concerned with turnovers and mistakes. Make the mistakes learning and going for it. I just don’t care that much about the downside of getting the O in that everybody hasn’t perfected yet. If you aren’t going to play in the PS….then you gotta do it on the fly during real games. My only real hope for this season was/is based on where Moore’s O can get and letting him teach. The goal is to take a new scheme and make it light years all in one season here.

So obviously not very good a scouting each opponent. Hasn’t shown any signs he can self scout either. Frankly he’s just too simple minded with his thoughts on strategies and X and O. You need multiple plays out of the same formations. You call plays to set up others…the next plays and later in the game. He shortcuts everything. No bigger season plans and goals. He’s just going to look at whatever games right in front of him and try to win. We all love the winning….but having him here so long cost us so much. The Hurts Haters can only point at the QB. Which sure QB1 plays his role. He doesn’t have a scheme. Doesn’t have a plan past tomorrow. Can’t teach or develop…maximize anybodies talents.
October 27, 20242 yr Hurts came in at 22….still only 26. But does have some areas he should have developed a better understanding about. That’s a crucial learning area while he was young coming into the NFL. It’s freakin criminal that Rosie’s had this HC this long. He hired him liking his coordinators. I get it. After he fired Pedey over the coordinators situation. But really just feels like to me it all stems from the ego power hunger that Rosie won’t consider a quality HC. Yeah we’ve seen what happens when you assemble a bunch of talented individuals…..without a coach? No self scouting or adapting. You need a team. A bunch of mediocre guys playing as one together on the field can beat any collection of solo acts.
October 27, 20242 yr What are they going to do to aid Fred Johnson at LT? This is the kind of game wrecking matchup that can end our season. Dickerson needs to get his head out of his butt. Steen has to got to do better. Anybody goes down now on the Oline and we will be struggling big time.

For some reason it’s appeared to be shrinking away from Moore’s so game by game. But he had three games Packers, Falcons and Saints. Then Tampa was just a train wreck team didn’t even show up. Then Siri ceases the O back to keep his job playing not to lose. Then Saquan had his day. So you were watching a three game sample size in a new O and he didn’t look like he’s been doing it for 8 years? He also added on more responsibilities with Kelce retiring. Didn’t play a snap in PS…just had one joint practice. Just never realistic expectation if you were expecting him to take on all this NEW and extra …to be mastered in TC practice.
October 27, 20241 yr Should be an interesting game today good test for the young guys in the secondary with Chase and Higgins

Getting rid of the ball faster would be huge avg time to throw on the nfl is 3 secs and we consistently hold the ball much longer then that….some of that is play design some Of it is Hurts just have to do better in this area especially with all the new faces and young guys playing

It's mind boggling What player improves and progresses under bad coaching? He progressed under Steichen’s watch as soon as he took control more from Siri. Then we go back to Siri last season and we rode the momentum wave for half the season. But never was going to be any quality added, identified in self scouting or adaptations. I was straight upset coming out of TC last season how unorganized and behind the team was. Never had a cohesive unit working together. It was just individuals all wearing the same jersey much more. So now Rosie tried to make that situation better by turning the O over to Moore. Can’t just snap your fingers overnight. Exactly my point about how we need to let Moore do his thing. We got three games to start this season that each one looked to be a decline in what looked like what I believe to be Moore’s O. Then it got completely taken over by Siri. You want progress? It’s not about been here five years so it should just happen….he’s been stuck over coming our HC the whole time.

But this is a massive difference …not just a tiny tweak. So you were delusional to believe you’d see progress without mistakes. You gotta put in the work to get the results. Seems like the main issue is will Siri allow it?

It's mind boggling I believe in the one that is treating him like anybody else. I watch Mahomes have very similar struggles. But he has great coaching to learn from. Frankly he’s still struggling even. You can say he’s had five years…you could give any player twenty years under bad coaching and you won’t like the results. Your five year point I view as WAY too long to have been stuck dealing with this. There’s no salary cap on coaches. There’s just no legitimate excuse! Get a good coach in here. Watch how many will progress and thrive.
