Cox is full of crap that it won't impact the lake. They put in a solar farm near our mountain place, on pa 75(path valley) which has a large amish population. heck it's a dry township, so you have to go quite a bit to purchase alcohol, so the fact that this happened out there is crazy, but be that as it may, there they are fields of solar panels for couple miles.beyond the eye sore, they real kick in teeth is the locals get zero benefit from them, none. all of the power generated goes elsewhere.

There is an approved community solar program in the house that for some reason can't get past the GOP senate (wonder why). Community solar projects would allow residents to buy energy at a reduced rate. Surprise surprise, the GOP doesn't want to save their constituents money. Also, I beg to differ the locals got zero out of those projects. If I am correct, those are Lightsource BP projects and I am sure there was a fairly substantial community benefits package that went along with the approval of that project. Also, most projects in PA going through now are smaller 3MW net metered projects which feed the energy they produce DIRECTLY into the local distribution grid, so those projects are absolutely benefitting local communities with energy resiliency.

Is your home connected to the power grid? Then yes, you get a benefit from the solar farm. The electric is the same whether it was generated at the solar farm, power plant, dam, wherever. They can't just pick it up and take it somewhere else. It all feeds into the grid.

Cox has been talking about small reactors with one specifically in the middle of SLC and Provo. If Silicon Slopes as they call it is getting one Logan will as well. He works in a data center and is still pissed off about what they are doing. He mentioned they said it will be a contained system that doesn't use a lot of water. They are full of crap.

Got it. He's also to blame for a few meatpacking companies running things. He ordered the DOJ to look into price-fixing for a reason.
