It's been two weeks and we now know with absolute certainty that Trump has :

• no plan for regime change in Iran

• no plan for the straight of Hormuz

• no plan for rising energy costs

The Republican strategy at the moment seems to be desperately hope for a terrorist attack (and then desperately hope that whoever attacks us came into the country in a very specific time frame) so you can blame it on Biden and justify an invasion. Don't see any other way Trump puts boots on the ground without it, because otherwise he'd have no one blame it on.

I think everything we thought before the bombing has proven pretty much true:

--Iran is functionally a terrorist state that basically does nothing but destabilize the entire region.

--We can wipe them off the map if we so chose.

The debate was always whether or not it would be worth it. That remains to be seen.

I'm never going to shed a tear for a nation who has allowed themselves to be ruled by terrorists for decades. It's also absolutely horrible when you see a school get leveled.

No one is shedding any tears. The question is how it is going for the good ole US of A. The risk/reward item you talk about in your 1st sentence which I absolutely agree with.
