I’m not aiming to max anything. More about reps these days for me. I am adding more weight on the bench each week fwiw.

No risk and no splash.

Seriously, at my age the reps are the thing. I’ll put say 140lbs on the bar for my final set of 10 today. I’m perfectly happy with that. Just looking to feel better and help with the golf game a bit.

No idea if they reissued them for this go round. That would involve getting everybody retrained and setting up the support apparatus (packers, riggers, life support) again.

Doing a lot of mobility work reaps huge benefits as you age as far as maintaining agility and preventing injury

Friday at 01:48 PM3 days 1 minute ago, Mike31mt said:Hmmm let me look up your takes on doing the exact same thing in Ukraine...Dude, that's apples to oranges. First off, have we lost any troops in Ukraine? Did we send any of the super high tech missiles etc., with the exception of Patriot and Himars systems, which are now being paid for? Did we send anything with stealth technology? Have we sent them anything since Trump took office? Who is more of an adversary to us when it comes to strength? Are you able to say that Putin and Russia is our enemy, or are you also taking the Trump stance of them being our new friends?Boots on the ground for you is good on this one, right?1

What is your point?LOL right, this time the regime change war in the Middle East is different than the last one. My point is you are absolutely foolish if you think that we can simply wipe the Islamic Republic Regime off the map by dropping bombs and missile strikes. As if this can just be a quick and easy war and viola, all the bad guys are gone. Wiping the Islamic Republic regime off the map would require a full on ground assault, followed by a very long occupation as we help them transition to a new government, which means dealing with the counter insurgency that comes with said occupation. It would require years of military occupation of Iran, cost thousands of American lives, and easily over a trillion dollars.
Friday at 01:58 PM3 days 13 hours ago, Mike31mt said:Trump is infinitely better than the alternative. That's what America voted for.Actually no, that's not what America voted for. Trump ran on avoiding going to war with Iran, and painted Harris and the Dems as the new neocons who wanted to keep the American military entangled in foreign regime change wars. He was the one that was going to bring our troops home, and use the money we'd otherwise waste on overseas wars and focus that money on domestic issues instead. But, you Trumpers don't actually have any beliefs of your own, you just follow blindly with whatever Trump does, I guess because you're afraid that you'll get removed from the mailing list if he finds out you dare criticized dear leader. So of course now that Trump has us entangled in a new regime change war in the Middle East, you do a complete 180 and go "this is exactly what I voted for!"
