The real question is why would an 8 time war ender, Nobel peace prize winning, master of negotiation president send in a summer intern to get probably the most consequential deal of either of his terms done? The answer is, trump has no plan. Only concepts. For anything. And he’s in way over his head and was hopeful that couch Fer could pull out a miracle. Now that they’ve both proven they’re utter failures in literally everything they touch, what next?

Im quite alright with Vance taking a black eye for this one. But in reality just like negotiations with Russia, its likely the US never meant for a deal to be made anyway. Same 2 week timeline. Same result- no deal.

Now they have an excuse to keep bombing. This was all for show. Just like some of the zelensky meetings and Putin meetings were.
