When he was on the pod save america podcast he said "Criticizing the Israeli government does not make one anti-semetic". That puts him ahead of half the democratic party and most of the mainstream media, but you're probably right.

Yeah to be clear I'm not saying it should be held against him. I have weird feelings about any POTUS previously serving in a foreign military in any capacity on principle, but in general I like Shapiro and don't (for now) view him as beholden to Israel or anything like that. I just see it costing him in the primaries.

If he was the candidate it seems moot though given Trump and anyone associated with him has Bibi balls deep so they really have no way to criticize the actions of a 20 year old kid.

Eh...I wouldn't say 2008 was about base motivation. Obama won the middle easily, and plenty of registered Republicans voted for him. After the financial meltdown, McCain was drawing dead, and add on Obama is a fantastic politician and was a historical candidate.

In '08, the dems had a 10pt turnout advantage over the GOP. The average Dem showed up and the average Rep didn't.

2020 was an election where both bases showed up. Two factors are the Dem base is a tad bigger, and in 2020 independents broke for Biden.

2016 neither of the bases showed up, so the independents decided that one.

Eh, for me it depends on what they were doing in a foreign military.

Member of the volkesdeutsche? No thanks.

Flew P-40s over the Hump for the ROC? Yes, please.

I almost wonder if a Jewish candidate who's real about criticisms towards Israel isn't the perfect candidate.

What?

He told his couch the same thing.

The party of Trump doesn't have a shred of shame.

Hmmm I could see it. That's a fine needle to thread though.

Oh boy, @Mike31mt have I got some news for you, my brother in Christ. No word yet if it's gonna be delivered on pallets though.

Why would State Farm do such a thing!

Vance knew damn well the gig entailed constant humiliation and he took it anyways. At this rate he's gonna flame out even worse than Pence.

Mango now has someone to blame when he either invades or surrenders/brings everyone home in surrender.

So JD gets assigned the task to negotiate the deal with the help of Pakistan. He fails miserably. Returns to US with no deal. Blames Iran.

Can they make the cliffhanger of this season of The Apprentice any more pathetic?

The real question is why would an 8 time war ender, Nobel peace prize winning, master of negotiation president send in a summer intern to get probably the most consequential deal of either of his terms done? The answer is, trump has no plan. Only concepts. For anything. And he’s in way over his head and was hopeful that couch Fer could pull out a miracle. Now that they’ve both proven they’re utter failures in literally everything they touch, what next?
