I have a sense of relief now knowing they are letting Barkley go for the rushing record this Sunday.  Although it is dimmed by also having the knowledge that we will have to get past the Wild Card round without Hurts.

I may be totally picking up what you are saying incorrectly, but it sounds like you are posting that Barkley IS playing on Sunday???

The tea leafs seems to be indicating that.  Barkley and the oline are practicing while most others aren't.  My guess is that Mailata, Dickerson and Jurgens play along with Barkley to give him a chance to win the record while the Giants aren't preparing to just load up and stop him.

Personally, I want him to play, as I think he (and by inference, the whole A+ OLine ) have earned that opportunity…

But I can appreciate why others aren’t so keen…

We will only know for sure at 1pm on Sunday…but whatever happens…play or not play, Saquon has been a beast, and a joy to watch all season!

Yea, that’s likely what happens. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of these deep reserves who have been inactive every week suddenly pick up an "injury” either.
