Waiting all day to kiss my cousin on Sunday Night

According to the NHS, this is a good thing and it shouldn't stop at the kissing.

Is this a scoragami?

Yes

Worst case scenario.

Now we can beat Green Bay and hold every other tie breaker over them but if we finish with the same amount of wins then they will get the top seed.

Defense tonight

IMG_5066.gif

They get a MNF team going cross country for a 1 pm game next week.

The birds need to pound the Broncos.

Then take care of NY on a Thursday and get another nice little rest before going to Nick Foles Stadium in Minny.

Then NY back in Philly and then the bye.

Seahawks,, Lions, Bucs, 49ers and Rams are all 3-1. So the Eagles only have a 1 game lead for the #1 Seed (They do have a tiebreaker over the Bucs and Rams). They are up 2 games in the Division. Keep Winning.

What a lame game

If he wants the players to stop "taunting" if we can even call it that, then he needs to set a better example.

Yea honestly this was embarrassing. Not even a week removed from mounting a 20 point comeback and winning, this clown is talking ish to the opposing QB. Even worse, his team already has a discipline issue regarding taunting. Wonder where they get it from

i wish i saw this earlier lol

On the "rest some guys" front, would next week be a good option? Out of conference opponent, I think mostly guys on offense need the rest so the starting defense (minus Carter probably) could contain a bo nix-led offense while a patchwork offense tries to score 23. Need everyone healthy coming out of the bye as we have Packers-Lions back to back, picking up two more head-to-head matchups against the competition for the 1 seed would be great

You are approaching it upside down. It is actually the best case scenario. Now we can beat Green Bay and hold every other tie breaker over them and if we finish with the same amount of losses then we will get the top seed.

Final Bucs Game Score Prediction Results

@Screaminbeagle with a prediction of Eagles 31 and Bucs 24 gets the win this week.

@Frankfurteagle89 was a close second with a prediction of Eagles 30 and Bucs 24

A total of 61 predictions were recorded with 44 for an Eagles win and 17 for a Bucs win.  The average predicted score was Eagles 27 Rams 22.

5 Bonus predictions were correct.

@B3 with "Eagles force two turnovers"

@capmaster24 with the layup "Mike Evans zero catches"

@cunninghamtheman with "Busting out the fake Brotherly Shove this week"

@FranklinFldEBUpper with "Eagles run a fake tush push"

@GreenbleedinNC with "Goedert has a TD"

3 others were either half right (the First Half) or to be determined by subsequent events.

@Cochis_Calhoun with "Saquon has his 1st 100yd game of the year, Goedert has 2 TDs" (half right)

@pisceschica with "Hurts probably fumbles" (again half right)

@jamiller with "TB blitzes 40% or more. But we are ready." (40%??? Not sure if they got that high, but they definitely blitzed plenty.)

The final list of predictions is as follows:

The schedule the Eagles have played so far is 9-6-1 .593 or 9-2-1 .792 when not playing the Eagles.

The Eagles remaining schedule is 27-26-2 .509 or 27-25-2 .519 when not playing the Eagles.

2025 wins by 3+ win teams over another 3+ win team:

Eagles 2 (Rams and Bucs)

SF 1 (Seattle)

Rams 1 (Indy)

Jax 1 (SF)

Seattle 1 (Pittsburgh)

Detroit, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Indy, Tampa, Chargers: 0

Buffalo’s schedule is so ridiculously fortuitous. Good chance they won’t play a team with an above .500 record til November 2nd if the chiefs are above .500 (NE next week is .500. Week after Atlanta off a bye is going to be 2-2 then Carolina. Then they finally play chiefs). If the chiefs aren’t over .500 then Tampa probably will be on november 16.

None of these things were a problem last year. All 11 starters were here last year.

So yeah, if it takes AJ Brown being passive aggressive on Twitter, sure. I hope Devonta does it too, and the rest of them. It’s a BS scheme.

No but we had issues on offense last year that took a while to get right....not scoring early - offense struggling to put together complete games. The Brazil game on slippery field was fine but then O and especially the passing game didn't really start clicking till Bengals game. We did have more of steady run game though which we havent gotten this year.

Last year was a brand new offense, first year without kelce, first year with saquon, first year with becton. This year is completely opposite, 10/11 starters were starters last year (and Steen was still at least on the team). They hired an internal guy to keep continuity with the offense, where is it?

This looks far more like the struggles of 2023 than 2024. We've seen this movie before, at least this time we have a legit defense

My post earlier today that you disagreed with was not creative enough. The possibility of a tie eluded my 78 year-old logic.

I only disagreed with how you expressed it. Lol

Can AJ Brown please get off f'ing twitter

I think Detroit is going to be the primary competition for the 1 seed.

If you think here is bad for sky is falling doomerism, Eagles Reddit is wild, there are people on there who want Sirianni fired, one of them even argued that "a smart organization would have fired him a couple of years ago" it's absurd.

I think Detroit are flattering to deceive again, their only victory that isn't against a team that they'd be clearly expected to beat is the Ravens and the Ravens really don't look good this year. Last year they got their clock cleaned by a Washington team that could barely lay a glove on us when QB1 was healthy, I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar faceplant this year when the big games start.

So many people want to try to explain these types of games with 1 reason.

Some blame Patullo, or Hurts, or Sirriani, or the OL, etc etc

The actual explanation, and more boring one, it that this team is a construct of all of those things.

Hurts is very good, but has limitations. Same with Nick S. The OL is having struggles and hopefully they can get healthier and improve.

Patullo has not been great….I would say bad at times.

AJ is a bit tricky to figure out. I don’t get the sense that he’s injured, I just don’t know if he’s as dynamic as he’s always been. But, we’re certainly not doing him any favors with the play design.

On top of all these things, they’ve played a very difficult schedule.

Some of these things will improve, some of them are just who this team is and has been for several years. There are going to be ugly, frustrating wins.

Or the sport is almost entirely ours but we don't care about the SB halftime.

That's a solid point, but the halftime show is just a microcosm of the direction the NFL is going.
