Why keep Siri then? Optics?

The guy adds nothing to the team, NOTHING.

I'm just curious, what does Harbaugh or Campbell add to their respective teams again? (Former with Harbaugh)

Sirianni is fine as the CEO HC, but he needs to let the board of Lurie, Roseman and Big Dom pick who his coordinators are.

Sirianni did hire Steichen and Moore. He can pick an OC but they need to have plenty of experience calling plays and everyone needs to be on board with the hire.

Are there any explosive running backs in the late rounds this year that can help Hurts and the passing game since we are stuck with him for next season?

Hope so

I prefer they get AJ a coach who is not an a-hole forcing Patullo on the offense.

If AJ is a problem next year then 2027 is an easy out on his deal.

He was held twice on the play but they weren’t calling it. Haven’t called it all year.

Yet how many penalties were called when the Eagles got big plays on offense? How many penalties to extend 49er drives? Yeah the bias against the Eagles from the NFL is blatantly obvious it has been all year.

BTW... Sirianni was 100% in the right regarding his interaction with AJ that was caught on video.

The longer video shows he was yelling at Brown to get off the field, likely due to being worried about a penalty.

He is not way beyond Switzer.

Switzer was 34-14 with 5 playoff wins and a SB in his first 3 years and he was a moron for every one of those games.

You are using the false cause fallacy of pretending that Siri is the reason for the winning.

It is clear and obvious that he is not. He is a moron. He is a bad person who put his friend ahead of team.

He was castrated after 2023 and he needs to be castrated again after this season. Just fire him.

He should be fired.

We do not have the best roster in nfl history. Teams that win continuously like what is being expected have the greatest coaches who ever lived. I’m not saying Sirianni is that.

But I’m also not saying he’s a guy who took over far and away the best team on the planet and won a super bowl with them. He was here through the entire construction

This is true and I complained loudly but they still should have won easily with a professional HC and OC.

Campbell is a great offensive guy. His defensive was absolutely trash. The lions offense was tops in the league

Well, good news is that Spring Training is only a few weeks away. Hopefully MLB doesn’t follow the same path as the NFL and keeps MLB "real”.

A loss sucks, but I’m not as upset as I usually am after the season. I think I already accepted this outcome earlier in the season.

So much writing on the wall, it was hard not to see.

Hopefully KP is gone soon. Siri will get another year, but the 2027 off-season is primed for big changes.

I agree with that. Both can be true though. I'm just sick of it. The NFL just really turns me off anymore because of it.

IF Howie/Lurie fired KP and Nick

This team just became the best HC and OC spot in the league

Obviously they'd tell the HC that Vic was staying though

So now we're erasing them being a head coach of a Super Bowl winning team. We've come a long way since just hoping to win our first Super Bowl, and pretty much all of that way as far as fanbase discussion goes has been negative. Never won so much, never been a worse time for me in discussing Eagles football. RIP.

Do you ever actually talk Eagles football? All I ever see from you is some generalizations about other people's opinions as if you are some kind of voice of reason. Maybe you can lecture to me again about your junior high level knowledge of management...seriously who died and made you Pope?

Yeah, I don't think that's a stat to be super proud of as a Hurts' supporter. That just proves how much the rest of the team is doing to provide those wins.

I picked the wrong year to hop on the train.

Oh, I’m looking to bring in competition at QB too. But he seems to do well with Smith who isn’t a big possession receiver.

Smith is a possession WR even though hes not big. Thats how they use him anyway, because that is how Hurts needs him to be used. Id love to see a new OC and new QB use Smith to his capabilities. Would have been nice to use Brown to his capabilities during his prime too for that matter. But we will never know what that would have looked like because we have Hurts.

I thought i would be this way, all week i knew it would take a miracle for this team to win a playoff game, but it's still annoying

Who cares about baseball. Dodgers bought the WS

Yeah, Sirianni "hired" Moore. Roseman and Lurie hired a guy that they considered for HC over Sirianni and made Sirianni sit back and find other things to do and it worked.

Being in Mike McDaniel and let Sirianni do whatever Big Dom permits him to on the sidelines and at practice. And he can give a 5 minute speech every week to the whole team in a meeting.

My hot takes:

On offense:

- 0% chance the OC is not replaced. So I'm not even wasting energy thinking about Patullo.

- As I said above, the Eagles are entering a 2 year stretch of painfully dealing with a QB problem.

- They need to do everything possible to direct money away from their current starters on offense. Contractually, whatever they can do...do it. This offense isn't just bad. They are damaging the defense with how overpaid they are.

- Dallas Goedert. Great run. Let him walk.

- First round pick needs to be an OT. End of story. Lane should retire. But if he doesn't, then I'll take 8 games from him mentoring the 1st round pick. His body will never cooperate again and they'd be foolish to bank on it.

- AJ Brown is entering the Alshon Jeffery portion of his career. He's a possession WR who does not generate YAC or separation anymore. I don't really see the point in drafting some separation-focused WR in the first round while Hurts is still the QB though. And they have a HUGE need to invest in the OL...so I'm not sure there is actually an opportunity to address this WR issue. BUt the offense could use more speed. They have gotten sneaky slow this year.

On defense:

- Extending Jordan Davis is not optional. I don't care who needs to be restructured or cut on offense. Jordan Mailata is the only player on the entire offense I'd value over Jordan Davis.

- Extending Jalen Carter IS optional. If he's willing to accept a discount to reflect the disappointment in his maturity AND production this year, great. Otherwise, he's got to play it out.

- I'd be OK with letting Phillips walk. I think Hunt and Smith have more good football in front of them than he does. Although...I'm not sure Phillips is going to cost all that much. He was a nice little deadline trade, but not actually a great one.

- Let Blankenship walk at your own risk. He's just OK. But he's a leader type and if you lose him, you might see a step back from our all-pro CB tandem without that chemistry.

- I think Mukuba needs competition and has not yet earned a starting spot.

- We don't need an all-pro, but we need a reliable CB2. Jackson did a really, really nice job settling in and cleaning it up. But he was just getting by and another year of age could cause him to lose it entirely. He's not the answer there for next year. They need to draft almost all offense. So I think some sort of thrifty veteran signing is going to have to do here.

On ST:

- Love Jake. Do a huge tribute for him on the way out. IMO, surpasses Akers as greatest kicker in franchise history. But time for a new one next year.

I said it last week but this will now be a season of what if. They were healthy outside of Lane and the kid at safety. Wide open field. Most talented team. And they lost.

Not only can Nick not coach them up he can't even coach horizontally. He brings nothing.

Mailata's year was less than normal...
Dickerson was hurt...
Cam was hurt...
RG was new...
Lane didn't play.

Brown had a lot of drops.
Smitty was really good as always.
Goedert was quite good.
Slot is irrelevant.
QB1 is not a particularly high level QB right now (has time to change) without the running game.
Saquon cannot function without a clean first level.

The first level was not clean, because of the breakdown of the OL above. Because of that, Jalen had a much harder time as he cannot carry with arm without a quality running game. Patullo was not good enough to make up for these issues, and made our playbook for the year not anticipating we'd have such tremendous issues in the running game. It's kind of like the opposite of a complementary offensive unit.

The offensive talent is overrated, because they did not do the thing needed for the offense to be successful: It all starts with the guys up front being able to run block. I told you guys this all year.

Offense has been overrated all year. Talent without synergy is useless. You can't completely change your playbook and scheme mid season in most cases.

They probably can’t get rid of him anyway but I would be excited if they did. He will try and torpedo any season hes involved with when he starts to feel like he isn’t getting attention/resoect/wtf ever. Rather him do it somewhere else.

People Siri is not getting fired. Unless he stands up for KP
