Purdy also had two potentially game changing interceptions.

Hurts made a few really good throws too. AJ dropped a couple big ones. The pass to Goedert on first 4th down of the last drive was excellent. He looked really good until they got to the RZ where they had nothing all night.

Purdy trusts his scheme and know where to go. I don't think Hurts trusts the scheme at all and probably with good reason. I think thats why he is back to bailing from clean pockets where he actually wasn't doing that early in the season.

What makes this worse for me than anything is that when I watch other teams I actually get enjoyment out of watching them come up with creative things on offense and getting their offense to function. When I watch the Eagles, the only joy I get is watching the defense for the most part.

Can we admit something though even with 2024. The offense looked great in 2024 because they had a historic run game that covered up for a lot. Saquon could just bust off a run so they would have a touchdown. This year we couldn’t do that. So when they actually had to sustain drives and be efficient like they were pass wise in 2024, it wasn’t happening. My point is the historic run game covered up for a lot of the lulls this offense would’ve had more frequently if the passing game was asked to step up every week

Hurts hit AJ Brown in the hands and it would have been like a 50 yarder. If it makes you guys feel better to make Hurts out to be some bum, so be it.

But he looks like a lot of "good" QBs when they have ish coaching.

They were down to starting wide receiver. And they weren’t up against a better Fing defense than the Eagles did. And they still manage to score 23 points. Sirianni had 10 of 11 starters out there. Against a depleted defense. Yet scored 19 points. So I don’t wanna hear crap about everybody else is at fault but Sirianni’s fault

Mailata had an off year but I think can bounce back.

Having said that if Siri doesnt get a real OC and keep his pop warner fingers out of the playbook wont matter how talented the players on offense are.

And paying Goedert good money is a horrible start to trying to accomplish that.

This is why I said you have to look at moving Dickerson or Jurgens, if not both. It's not popular, it might be a hiccup, but you have to get out of those contracts. You need to be cheap on the OL. Lane has to retire. Getting out of AJ Brown's contract is a must. There's going to be a big sting there, but this isn't sustainable. The relationship is fractured. It's not going to mend, it's going to get worse.

The offense is not in a good place. There's ZERO depth behind the high priced pieces. The only depth they have, Tank Bigsby, they don't use.

I'm not saying blow it up, but boy, some serious looking in the mirror has to be done first, then a lot of tough decisions and work for Howie to do.
